Silver hair-ornament from Oman, 1950s
Silver heart-shaped hair ornament (halqa) with crescent danglers and jingling silver chains. The cut-out center forms a palm tree with chased decoration, set with a red glass seal inscribed with the name Muhammad, referring to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Isfahan, Iran, mid 20th century; the snake's skin is made of turquoises glued onto silver. Might have been worn by Armenian women of Isfahan.

Assrou N'Swoul counterweight veil pendants made of brass, iron and copper are received by a girl as a gift from her mother. Their size indicates the wealth of the girl’s family.
