What are Jax's true thoughts on Gangle? Like i know she likes to bully Gangle in particular but we see moments where it seems like she actually thinks that they're friends almost (like when she says "what? She likes it when i'm mean to her") and ofc the scene with her in Jax's mind

I think Jax takes his complex feelings on his mother out on Gangle, but tries to justify it to himself through delusions that it's not ACTUALLY abuse, even though it is. Most abusers don't ever think of themselves as abusers, and tend to make up a reality in which their abuse is either not that big a deal or it's somehow warranted.

And from Gangle's perspective, she was at a very vulnerable place when she joined, and Jax took control of their relationship. She formed a bit of a codependent bond with him even though it just mostly caused her pain. Losing a friend who frequently hurts you can fill you with complex feelings that are really hard to make sense out of.

The pebble makes what is close to a huff- one of the sorta noises they could decently make that doesn’t hurt their body. Stupid stupid body. Why pebble have to have no ability to chirp? Unfair unfair. Damage when hatched, not even do anything! Unfair.

A little angry stop stop comes from the pebble, they were not small! Could feel other pebbles, not not small! Only bit smaller! Believe this what Teacher Grace call bullying, question? Hm it might be what call bully, but may be silly, friends say silly, like how can’t make most noise, friends make silly about it, but then little pebble still win at games. Smart smart smart, that what Caretaker Gardenia says, and teacher Grace said they have lots of curiosity in their brain. So they should count as big! Because big curiosity, like Teacher Grace say!

Didn’t know how to explain to other that they were small at hatching, because most of them rely on sound. Which the little pebble could not make. Or at least- from their vets, taps and stomps and other noises had to do with lots of communicate, or etch in things! Don’t really know what to do here.

Woke up at like three in the morning and my brain started fucking talking as if I was my one currently unnamed phm pebble oc and it was like “pebble wake early. No no no, very tired, wake too fast. Too too early, bad bad bad” or some shit and I was like bro how tired am I that my brain is doing this

Every now and again I have the little pebble’s voice(?? Because they’re. Mute) in my head because I just occasionally have that with all my characters

But since the lil guy is SO wordy it stands out more

I saw a ball in my house and my little brain thought of my pebble oc who got gifted a ball the other day, and my brain went “ball ball ball- ball fun! Make fun noise, ver ver fun. Bounce bounce, endless fun! Much much fun. Make thunk noise and bounce bounce, much fun!”

I love my silly baby… they have tried to sneak into Grace’s biodome but because they’re small and the ball-looking suit doesn’t fit that well they are very easily found, since it makes noises when they run into things

i immediately put them in a rocky sized ball and since they're tiny they don't have enough body weight to move the ball...so they're just scrambling up the sides while desperately trying to get the ball to move..💔💔💔
