Female. I am revamping. This is my strictly Fandom blog. As always, no hate or I boot your ass. My blog, like my mouth, has no filter and if that offends you, I am sorry but it will never fucking change. That being said, if something I say (disregarding language) does offend, talk to me about it. It may be that I am in the wrong and need to learn something. A few rules, 1. Do not presume to tell me how I should feel or react as a survivor of familial rape. 2. Unless you want to send my temper nuclear, do not say the words "I know how you feel." No, you do not. Even if you went through something similar, you do NOT know how I feel. You can empathize, you can imagine, but you can never KNOW! 3. Intelligent discourse is always welcome. Hate, condemnation, or disparaging name calling is not. Plus, it is the quickest way to lose a debate. Take a speech class people, it is basic stuff. 4. If the subject matter that I consistently blog about (life experiences, defense of my writers, discrimination, etc) upsets you, this is probably not the blog for you. 5. If you are an open minded person who can agree to disagree in a mature and adult way, we should get along famously. I love my SPN family, I love my IS family. I love my followers. I identify with Dean. Bring an older sibling means I get him. But like him, I love Sammy more than anything because I see my little brother in him. The heart he has, the determination to be better, it's all I can do not to sit my little bro down and force him to watch the show and say "See?!?! Learn! Learn from his mistakes!" He makes some stupid ass mistakes sometimes and I get pissed and wanna strangle him. He's broken my trust and my heart more times than I can count. But above all that, above the anger and disappointment, he's my kid brother and I see him for the good hearted person he tries to be.

I feel bad for Jensen

Jensen’s episode deserved better ratings if only for the fact it was Jensen’s episode and he worked so hard, he’s a talented director and is meant to be loved by fandom. I hope he doesn’t take the ratings to heart, with a script that’s mostly dialogue with little action he didn’t have much to work with in terms of directing and he did an awesome job despite that.

With that and the slow response to Team Levi this year, no Dean questions asked during panels at cons and all the in-fighting between fan factions with Jensen stuck in the middle taking hits from both sides I don’t think Jensen’s getting the support or love he deserves anymore and it’s breaking my heart, I can’t help it. I’m praying he wins PCA this time but I’m not even convinced he’ll be nominated. I don’t know if it’s because more of his and Deans fans have moved on from Supernatural or if it’s that he doesn’t get the same support from general fans that the others get because he’s less involved with social media or if I’m being over-dramatic. I just wish I could do more to show him support but I can’t make up the numbers.

I know he’s rich, good looking and privileged etc but no matter what your circumstances I think talent and hard work should result in reward and at least recognition and Jensen is one of the most talented, passionate and hard working actors (and directors for that matter) in the industry and he doesn’t get the recognition for it and now his episode hasn’t got the ratings he deserves for the work he put in either.

Yes I know there are real world problems but I had to get that out.

If you’re meeting Jensen at a convention anytime soon, please show interest in Dean, congratulate him on his work and give him an extra squishy hug for me.

Honestly I could careless about the video Jensen posted. Don’t get me wrong I’m thrilled he won a PCA but I’m not about to get worked up because the video had Misha instead of Jared in it. Am I suppose to cry my eyes out because Jensen dared to post something without Jared in it? Well I’m not. I’m secure in how much Jensen and Jared care about one another. One little video isn’t going to change anything, have you seen the moments and stuff that the J2 fans and shippers have been given? I know that Jared is still one of the most important people in Jensen’s life just as Jensen is one of the most important people in Jared’s life, nothing has changed that.

Ships and anti-ships: how both can make safe spaces for each other.

You can ship what you want, from any fandoms that catches your eye. As long as it is:

1. Fictional. 2. Properly tagged (especially nsfw) 3. Don’t invade anti tags.

You will be fine. No matter who you are. Whatever you’ve lived trauma, or not, you are allowed to ship as an way of coping, As an way of experiencing and managing your emotions. As long as you don’t let it consume your life. Remember, what you love may trigger someone else, so tag it to give them a chance to avoid it. That is kindness and respect. Do not impose it on them.

You can hate on a ship. That’s okay, too. You don’t have to endure it if it makes you icky. As long as you:

1. Don’t attack any shippers. 2. Properly tag your anti 3. Don’t invade ship tags.

You will be fine. No matter who you are. Whatever you’ve lived trauma, or not, if something makes you uncomfortable, you do not have to expose yourself to it.  If you are triggered, please protect yourself. Avoid ship spaces: you are a precious person and you shouldn’t torture yourself. But please do not censor creativity.  Even if 50 Shades of Grey and Twilight was in bad taste, it shouldn’t have to mean others should be penalized for it.
