Arman Morales x Reader pt. 5
Hey everyone, I hope y'all are liking this fic so far!
The light coming in from the window opened your eyes. You sat up in the king size bed and looked around. The bottle of water that Arman had gotten you was still on the nightstand, along with the washcloth he had used. You were running you hands through you hair when you saw some clothes on a chair, along with a towel and a washcloth.
I should just go you thought. You got up and went to the elevator that would take you down to the casino. You were about to press the button when you looked back at the bed. Arman could have told you to leave after what you showed him, but he didn't. He brought you up to his home, got you a bottle of water, and held you as you drifted off to sleep. He even had some clothes set out for you so you could get a shower.
It You looked back at the elevator and put your hand down No, not this time.
You walked over to the chair, picked up the clothes, towel and washcloth and went into the bathroom.
As you were drying your hair off, you heard the sound of a stove turning on. You put on the clothes and made your way to the kitchen to see what it was.
It was Arman. He was making breakfast. He wasn't here when you woke up, so he must have came back while you were in the shower.
It wasn’t until you leaned against wall that he realized you were. When he did, his eyes immediately went to the scars on your arms, then then he saw the scar on you left leg.
“You can also about them if you want” you said, walking over to the chair so you could sit down.
“Did they come from your training?” He asked as he cracked the eggs and put them in the pan. "Some are from the training, some are from the missions, but a majority of them are from the experiments" you replied, looking off to the side.
His eyes darted to the side, then back at you. The realization hit him. There were more. Ones he couldn't see. He set a cup of orange juice down on ten table as he took a seat next to you "You said experiments, what kind of... experiments?" he asked.
"Um... experiments that made me enhanced. They altered my blood, my DNA, hell even my genetics. My... my powers were already there. The experiments just brought them to the surface. They didn’t know were they came from. I still don’t even know” you said, looking at your hand.
You took a sip of your orange juice. "When the experiments were complete, she started me on my training. I was tought every possible way to kill a man, with my powers and without my them".
"After my training, she started sending me on missions. She would tell me where to go and who to kill. If I tried to refuse, or if during a mission I would hesitate, she would have The Telepath get into my head and do it anyway."
"You keep saying she... You mean your mother?"
He took your hand in his and just looked at you. You felt that feeling again. That jolt that went through your body whenever he touched your hand. You let your mind wander If his touch can do that do that to your hand, imagine what it could do-
"I think the food is done" you said, looking at the stove. Arman got up and went over to the stove. He put the food the food on the plate and set them on the table.
"Oh my God, this is amazing" you said through a mouth full of food. Arman let out a laugh. "It's my mothers recipe" he said. "Well tell your mother I said this is amazing" you replied, pointing at the food.
"Next time I call her, i'll be sure to tell her that" he said.
You saw a piece of paper on the table. "What's this?" you asked picking up the piece of paper.
"It's a list of top 10 things to do in Vegas" he replied
"I can see that, what I meant was why do you have it?" you said.
"Because, Charlie, I figured since you haven't had alot of time to properly see Vegas on your own, I'd be your personal tour guide for the day" he replied.
"If you're going to be my personal tour guide, you should know my real name. I'm Safara." you said.
"Well, Safara, we should get going. We have a long day ahead of us" he he said
"Lead the way, tour guide"
