"The truth is that I'm a bad person, but that's going to change, I'm going to change. This is the last of this sort of thing. I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life." - Trainspotting (1996)

GUILT
I wish I didn't feel guilty over arbitrary things. Maybe it's an emotional intelligence thing, I don't know at this point.
"But the LORD says, “Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago. Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already—you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there." - Isaiah 43: 18-19
"You're right. It's storytelling. The rites and the rituals. Costumes, all of it. It's storytelling. I guess the question is, do these stories convince us of a lie? Or do they resonate with something deep inside us that's profoundly true, that we can't express any other way except storytelling?" - Wake Up Dead Man
Thinking about the past
A huge part of me wants to cringe at my past self, but another part has this crazy amount of compassion towards myself. I truly believe I did the best I could with what I knew and what I had to work with. I still feel weird about stuff and pray people don't remember me as this emotionally immature weirdo who said dumb things. Then again, anyone who truly cares about me wouldn't resent me over learning and processing and being young, and anyone who does, well, their opinion doesn't really matter to me.
Love you to the moon and back.
"Amaze, amaze, amaze."
"Moon, tell me if I could Send up my heart to you? So, when I die, which I must do Could it shine down here with you?"
"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples." - Mother Teresa
