My boyfriend hasn’t gone to work for three days, he called two days off and actually had his day off yesterday. I’m kind of irritated because In our relationship he’s the one with a job(i go to university full time- I saved my scholarship and other money to be able to pay for my rent and utilities through out the semester) and I’ve expressed how much it stresses me out because I’ve tried to get a job but it hasn’t worked out I never get calls back and it fucking sucks because he doesn’t seem to understand you work to get money to pay to live. Like literally everyone has to work, he isn’t the only one “working his life away” it’s literally just the system. So instead of being an adult and stepping up to plate he’s let me pay our full rooms rent, and most of the utilities without even thinking about paying me back before he goes Nd spends money on video games. Sometimes I really question whether he is prepared for adulting, just because you bought a new doesn’t mean you’re an adult. It means you are now liable for those payments and the insurance on top of the other bills, it’s a either or situation. His main excuse for not paying me back rent or utilities is “I have a car payment and insurance” I’m just getting over it. I don’t Ike feeling used and under appreciated.
