Mitchell River Walk

Such a great spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch, as we do often. The happy sound today of young people swimming in the river, and the peaceful sounds of the wildlife in the reserve. A very cheeky magpie decided to enjoy our lunch too!  We didn’t give him our human food, but he stayed and “talked” with us a while!

Mitchell River Walk

We had lunch today on the Mitchell River Walk. A lovely quiet space to enjoy the river and the surrounding park area. Beautiful trees line the walk. Huge majestic and totally naked at the moment! The sky was very blue and some amazing cloud formations.

Lake Tyers through to the sea again

An amazing phenomena when the lake level is high enough it breaks the sand barrier, and flows out to sea. At present both Lake Bunga and Lake Tyers are open to the sea. Video and photos are here:
