Some OC notes
Some OC notes on how I like to portray age and handle hair with furries. Originally made this for some friends when describing my design process but I like these doodles and wanted to post em and share me thoughts.
As I've been developing Happy and Bucky for a couple years now I've been trying to push their differences even more, both with their shape language and age. I know the method of using head's to measure a character is funny and people treat it like a unit of measurement when its really just for comparison of the head to the body itself, children usually have bigger heads proportionate to their bodies then adults. As well as more narrow shoulders and shorter limbs. Adult
As for hair, I'm not usually a fan of giving furries human like hair. I usually prefer them as lil' more abstract critters. I also like to try to have features emulate hair like (like ears acting like bangs or long hair). Nuthin wrong with giving them human like hair is just me preference.
