A couple more old flyers from my storage unit.
The Masterbeater should join the Avengers.
The Debauchers seem like a bunch of creeps. Time to call the Avengers.
Here’s some eye crushingly ugly concert flyers I have from the late 1980s. I attended the Anthrax show and the Party Ninjas show. Anthrax was pretty amazing, Party Ninjas was a bunch of drunken hair metal goofballs brutalizing songs that were popularized by far more competent musicians. Goddamn, that Jet Boy flyer is ugly. Which one? Take your pick.
Club With No Name, Hollywood, 1992. Was seeing my new favorite band, Rage Against The Machine, as they played with some bands called Lava Diva and Tool. Bought the demo tape you see above from the bass player of Lava Diva, who turned out to be Timmy C’s sister (man, I hope I remembered that correctly). Rage killed, as they always did in those days. I left after their set and didn’t see the headliner. That band, Tool, had a really crass shirt, so I had no interest in seeing them AT ALL. The other items in the photos were not from this show. I don’t remember when I got them, honestly. No later than 1993 though, as I was sick to fucking death of the band by that summer (I saw them 13 times in a 15 month period there though, if that helps you understand this) and never went to see them again.
The Mentors 1990 “A Piece Of Sinema” VHS tape. Recently dug out of storage, and even more recently failed to be converted to DVD because I don’t have the proper set of wires to do it (yet).
