RUDOLF STINGEL at PALAZZO GRASSI
While in Venice, we could not forget to see the new show at Palazzo Grassi.
As you probably read in the news, this show is peculiar not so much for the artworks displayed (beautiful paintings of medieval objects depicted with miniaturist precision) but rather for its incredible setting: a never-ending, floor-to-ceiling reproduction of Stingel's own carpet which wraps the works in a warm arabesque motifs.
The three floors of Palazzo Grassi then turned into a visual kaleidoscopic experience. We were enthralled, fascinated, convinced. The impact of the show on us was enormous. We urge you to go and see the show and lose yourselves in a sea of optical dazzlement.
