I read your post about the super wealthy and minorities. I get what you are saying, but at the same time being rich won't stop people from hating you if you are queer, non-white, disabled, a woman, etc. It would be like saying that white disabled people cannot face ableism because they are white, even though that's not true. You can be privileged on one side and discriminated against on the other. That's how intersectionality works.

I'm not attacking you nor am I ""defending"" anyone. I just wanted to explain this concept.

here's the thing, if you're super rich and someone hates you.... nothing bad is going to happen. if you don't get a job because you're gay and you're rich you're not in any danger whatsoever. you're not going to have to worry about not paying your rent on time and losing your home if you've got enough money to last the planet a lifetime.

if you're super rich and someone is ablelist towards you, you have the resources to sue the shit out of them and make sure *they* are the ones in danger of losing everything.

being white and disabled is not at all the same as being rich and a minority because even if it's less harsh than the discrimination a disabled POC is getting you're still being oppressed.

wealth hoarding money grubbers aren't oppressed. the unjust rules of society don't matter when you're part of the class that can not only afford to break the rules but the rules often no longer apply whatsoever.

the ultra wealthy aren't oppressed, and nothing changes that. it's not intersectional because the lives of billionaires don't intersect with ours at all.

you're free to disagree with me if you want though, I'm not the smartest person in the world and I can definitely be wrong about things. although nothing either of us believe are going to make a difference to the rich lol

I have heard of black people warning their kids that the race of a police officer is cop and you should not expect solidarity from them. The same applies to other types of minorities.

The gender of a police officer is cop.

When you become the enforcer and protector of capital, you are making the deal to be slightly favored by the system over others like you, in exchange for being its servant. Your solidarity is with the system that you serve, even if it hates you.

If you want solidarity with those the system hates, you cannot be the system's servant and defender.
