so this blog is gonna be running on a DC & Marvel merged universe. and i had been thinking a lot about bruce and how much he knows and feels about the avengers, so here’s a senseless rant about it.

bruce has had an eye on all of the shit going on in new york for a whole, specifically due to the proximity it has to gotham, they have enough shit themselves, he doesn’t want any of this other shit reaching THEM. so in full on bruce wayne manner, he has researched each of them individually, some being clearly easier to research than others (thor for example was a pain in the ass). and he doesn’t doubt s.h.i.e.l.d. or stark himself have done the same with the league ( how he feels about tony stark is for another post, but should be mentioned it’s not entirely good ).

he acknowledges the importance of their existence ( also acknowledges the big damn flaws inside, specially after the whole sokovia accords ) but the world’s fucked up, to the point there really is THIS many people in masks trying to do good. and the avenger’s are in FACT trying to do good, and he respects that deeply.

"Bruce Wayne is as much of a mask as Batman", Dick used this words to describe Bruce, and he was completely right. However, there's more than ONE Bruce mask. He puts on a different one depending on the situation he is in, and who he is with. This is a skill he learned a long time before Batman was even a concept, it's what helped him keep going. He was NEVER going to be alright, and the sooner he accepted that it would be better. But he could pretend when with other people. The real Bruce Wayne is an empty shell of a man that can't see much further due to the darkness he is drowned in. So he picks up pieces and makes another image of himself, one people could find more appealing to be around, one that despite being created from different pieces, doesn't look so broken.
