Hooboy this one was interesting to do. First time rooting with glow-in-the-dark hair and mixing my own varnish and glow pigment mixture. Since the green glow pigment had little color to it in the light, I had to paint while shining a little UV keychain light to see what I was painting. I used mostly the green glow pigment on the body, with some blue on certain areas, and blue glowing eyes. No acrylic paint (only as a base coat for the shoes and eyes) and painted her up with a mixture of varnish and metallic pigment powders.

Aā¦ Corpse Bride! Many artists have done a wonderfully successful job on THE corpse bride, this time, I tried to put a spin on a different kind of corpse bride. Ā Hope you enjoy! This darklingās journey~ - Factory paint, hair and clothing removed. - Acrylic eyes (deep black, slightly alien looking) by ersaflora.com have been permanently set. - Factory hair removed and replaced with a blended Tibetan lambs wig in shades of purple by https://www.etsy.com/shop/fantasydolls - Faceup- 3x sealed prior to faceup- Derwent and Faber Castell watercolor pencils, Sennelier soft chalk pastels and MSC sealant. Being an otherworldly skeletal being, Iāve chosen to go with minimal clothing to show off the all over body coloring. This body coloring process in copper and purple consists of a hot dye dip bath, soft chalk pastels, watercolor pencils, Pearl ex pigments and sealant. She does wear a skimpy leather like top that stretches down to her pelvis complete with a teeny tiny skirt. Her veil, hood, cape is one piece and does not come off. The back of her hair is swirled in an up-do and is secured with an extra strong jeweled hair clip.Her unique thigh accent āgarterā is secured with cris crossed thick thread and tacked in place. Her boot accents are painted and permanently borrowed from one of her MH sisterās closets ;)
