[He laughed nervously, his face flushing]

"I- well- yeah- i-i- i did- because well- gosh- you are."

[He fidgeted with with hair]

Gerard blushed a bit at that. "I-I am?" He asked, sounding almost shy.

[he nodded quickly]

"Oh, well. You are also pretty. Very pretty in fact." Gerard said and looked down so his hair would hide his face a bit.

[He laughed sheepishly]

"Wow- you- you really mean that? Gosh- i- thank- thank you so-so- s-so much-"

[He covered his face with his hands]

"Yeah, I really mean that. You are also very cute." Gerard said and lifted his head a bit to look at Michael, only to see him cover his face with his hand. "Are you hiding your pretty face from me now?"

[He nodded and muttered somthing]

"I didn't catch what you just said. What did you just mutter?" Gerard asked and reached out to gently pull Michael's hands away from his face.

[He was tomato red and he laughed nervously]

"Hah.. hi.."

Gerard chuckled gently at that. "Hi. There you are. Now I can see that pretty face of yours again. Even if it's currently rivaling a tomato."

"Im I really that red? Gosh I feel- uhm- i- i dont know exactly-"

"Yes, you are. Would you feel even more flustered if I said that I find it adorable? And it's all good if you don't know exactly how you feel."

[He covered his give once more]

"I- i would be more flustered"

"Well, then prepare to be more flustered." Gerard said with a grin. "I find it very adorable."

[He giggled]

"And your giggles are also very adorbale." Gerard said, hoping to make Michael giggle again.

[He giggled some more.]

"You- you flatter me.."

"Yeah, I am." Gerard chuckled. "I think I should turn calling you pretty into a daily thing, where you hear it from me at least two times a day."

"I- i- wouldnt mind that- that- that sounds nice."

"Yeah? Then I will do that starting today, pretty boy."

"If I take the day off, can you cover some of my work?"

"Y-yeah! Of course! Where are you going- uh if- if you dont mind me asking."

[He looked up from his book and brushed curls out of his face]

"Thank you. And I don't mind you asking at all." Gerard said with a small smile that seemed more forced then real. "I am going to my apartment, because I have had big headache ever since getting up this morning. And currently it's at a point where I can't ignore it anymore and painkilers don't do shit anymore."

[His gaze softened and his eyes were filled with sympathy]

"I could come with you- if- if you wanted company. Its not like we do any work anyways."

Gerard hesitated for a moment and then sighed a little. "I would actually appriciate that a lot, since being alone while having headaches usually sucks for me."

"Ill be quiet! And- and I know how to deal with head aches if theyre really bad"

[He gave Gerry a look that said "you won't regret this!"]

"Thank you. And that's great to hear." Gerard said, his smile still small but not forced anymore. "And do ignore how the inside of my apartment looks. Or at least don't tell anyone. It's not exactly all black and dark and gothic like one would expect it to be."

"Oh its fine, I dont judge people- and I wouldnt expect you to be that goth-"

[He chuckled lightly]

"No offense."

Gerard chuckled a little at that. "No offense taken." He said and squeezed his eyes shut for a moment when a wave of massive pain went through his head. When he opened them again, he sighed a bit. "It's not that far from here. And I have a lot of tea if you want a cup of tea. Or a cup of coffee. I should also still have some lemon cake in my fridge, if you want a slice."

He frowned when he noticed the wave of pain.

"Ill figure it out when we get there, let's go.'

[Micheal gathers his things and starts to head out]

"Yeah, let's go." Gerard said and headed out with Michael.

The walk to the apartment was rather short and Gerard unlocked the door, letting Michael enter first, before walking inside after him and closing the door. The inside of his apartment really was not dark and black. Or, well, some of the worden furnitire was made of a dark wood, but there was more of a cozy vibe in the apartment. There were also a lot of plants. And a small, very fluffy orange cat that meowed at them both, as if greeting them, once it saw them. "Ah, yeah, forgot to mention him. This is Mister Whiskers. I hope you are not allergic to cats." He said, realizing he should have probably asked Michael about that before taking him to his apartment.

"I dont think im allergic, dont worry."

[He took a couple of moments to take in everything that was in the cozy appartment, then went straight over to the cat.]

"awe whos a cute little guy"

He cooed

Mister Whiskers meowed at the question and bumped his head against one of Michael's legs while he started to purr. Gerard's smiled fondly at that. "It looks like he likes you already. Please make yourself comfortable. I will change into something more comfortable real quick."

"i will-"

[When gerry left the room micheal went to the kitchen to get him water and a cold rag to help.]

Gerard came back after a few minutes, dressed in something else. His clothes were still black obviously, but they also looked rather comfortable: Black fluffy looking pants and a black tank top. And while the tank top did show off the burn scars that he had on his arms and some of his chest, Gerard did not do anything to hide them. Michael had said he would never judge after all.

[Micheal came back with a glass of water and handed it Gerry. He looked over his outfit and hummed]

"I... was expecting this actually."

Gerard took it and took a long sip from it. "The outfit or the scars?" He asked, trying to make a joke, one that was most likely was a terrible joke. "My closet lacks colour, most of the clothes I have are black. I also have some red clothes, but those are for dates or nice parties or other events like that. I rarely put those on."

"I wasnt expecting the scars- i- I was talking about the- the outfit."

[He chuckled lightly]

"How did you get them though? The scars, if-if you don't mind me asking."

"If course you were." Gerard said with a small chuckle, glad that he managed to make Michael chuckle at the very least. "I don't mind you asking, but you might not like the answer, so I will put it as simple as I can." He said and sat down on his comfy couch. "The details of the day I got them are a bit blurry, but I remember that they were caused by something my mother did. I remember being treated for them, but not what exactly caused them. Just that this woman has something to do with." He explained, sounding almost disgusted when he said the word 'mother'.

[He frowned]

"Thats a shame..."

[He trailed off, then perked up]

" oh- i got you a cold towel for your head! It helps with head aches too- darkness also helps! Or at least a dimmyly lit room."

"It is indeed. But she is... Well, not in my life anymore. So it's fine, I guess." Gerard said with a shrug. Then he smiled a little again. "In that case we should dim the light a little. This lamp is one of those weird fancy ones that can turn to dim light with a remote." He said and took the remote in question. Then he took another sip of his water, before putting it on the coffee table and leaning back on the couch. "And a cold towel for my head sounds very good."

he looked shocked by the lamp for a few moments before he went off into the kitchen. Again. He returned with a wet towel and a smile.

"Here you are."

Gerard moved his long poorly dyed black hair away from his forhead to make space for the wet, cold towel. "Thank you." He said and took it from Michael, putting it on his forhead. He sighed in relife as it helped a little almost instantly. "Yeah, that's really nice. Maybe I should have you around more often when I have headaches."

"i wouldnt mind being around more often-"

[He didn't realize he said that out loud and he blushed heavily]

"I- i-i- gosh- i- I mean well-"

Gerard blushed a little bit himself and moved his head a bit to look at Michael. "I uh-... wouldn't mind having you around more often."

Gerard took it and took a long sip from it. "The outfit or the scars?" He asked, trying to make a joke, one that was most likely was a terrible joke. "My closet lacks colour, most of the clothes I have are black. I also have some red clothes, but those are for dates or nice parties or other events like that. I rarely put those on."

"I wasnt expecting the scars- i- I was talking about the- the outfit."

[He chuckled lightly]

"How did you get them though? The scars, if-if you don't mind me asking."

"If course you were." Gerard said with a small chuckle, glad that he managed to make Michael chuckle at the very least. "I don't mind you asking, but you might not like the answer, so I will put it as simple as I can." He said and sat down on his comfy couch. "The details of the day I got them are a bit blurry, but I remember that they were caused by something my mother did. I remember being treated for them, but not what exactly caused them. Just that this woman has something to do with." He explained, sounding almost disgusted when he said the word 'mother'.

[He frowned]

"Thats a shame..."

[He trailed off, then perked up]

" oh- i got you a cold towel for your head! It helps with head aches too- darkness also helps! Or at least a dimmyly lit room."

"It is indeed. But she is... Well, not in my life anymore. So it's fine, I guess." Gerard said with a shrug. Then he smiled a little again. "In that case we should dim the light a little. This lamp is one of those weird fancy ones that can turn to dim light with a remote." He said and took the remote in question. Then he took another sip of his water, before putting it on the coffee table and leaning back on the couch. "And a cold towel for my head sounds very good."

"If I take the day off, can you cover some of my work?"

"Y-yeah! Of course! Where are you going- uh if- if you dont mind me asking."

[He looked up from his book and brushed curls out of his face]

"Thank you. And I don't mind you asking at all." Gerard said with a small smile that seemed more forced then real. "I am going to my apartment, because I have had big headache ever since getting up this morning. And currently it's at a point where I can't ignore it anymore and painkilers don't do shit anymore."

[His gaze softened and his eyes were filled with sympathy]

"I could come with you- if- if you wanted company. Its not like we do any work anyways."

Gerard hesitated for a moment and then sighed a little. "I would actually appriciate that a lot, since being alone while having headaches usually sucks for me."

"Ill be quiet! And- and I know how to deal with head aches if theyre really bad"

[He gave Gerry a look that said "you won't regret this!"]

"Thank you. And that's great to hear." Gerard said, his smile still small but not forced anymore. "And do ignore how the inside of my apartment looks. Or at least don't tell anyone. It's not exactly all black and dark and gothic like one would expect it to be."

"Oh its fine, I dont judge people- and I wouldnt expect you to be that goth-"

[He chuckled lightly]

"No offense."

Gerard chuckled a little at that. "No offense taken." He said and squeezed his eyes shut for a moment when a wave of massive pain went through his head. When he opened them again, he sighed a bit. "It's not that far from here. And I have a lot of tea if you want a cup of tea. Or a cup of coffee. I should also still have some lemon cake in my fridge, if you want a slice."

He frowned when he noticed the wave of pain.

"Ill figure it out when we get there, let's go.'

[Micheal gathers his things and starts to head out]

"Yeah, let's go." Gerard said and headed out with Michael.

The walk to the apartment was rather short and Gerard unlocked the door, letting Michael enter first, before walking inside after him and closing the door. The inside of his apartment really was not dark and black. Or, well, some of the worden furnitire was made of a dark wood, but there was more of a cozy vibe in the apartment. There were also a lot of plants. And a small, very fluffy orange cat that meowed at them both, as if greeting them, once it saw them. "Ah, yeah, forgot to mention him. This is Mister Whiskers. I hope you are not allergic to cats." He said, realizing he should have probably asked Michael about that before taking him to his apartment.

"I dont think im allergic, dont worry."

[He took a couple of moments to take in everything that was in the cozy appartment, then went straight over to the cat.]

"awe whos a cute little guy"

He cooed

Mister Whiskers meowed at the question and bumped his head against one of Michael's legs while he started to purr. Gerard's smiled fondly at that. "It looks like he likes you already. Please make yourself comfortable. I will change into something more comfortable real quick."

"i will-"

[When gerry left the room micheal went to the kitchen to get him water and a cold rag to help.]

Gerard came back after a few minutes, dressed in something else. His clothes were still black obviously, but they also looked rather comfortable: Black fluffy looking pants and a black tank top. And while the tank top did show off the burn scars that he had on his arms and some of his chest, Gerard did not do anything to hide them. Michael had said he would never judge after all.

[Micheal came back with a glass of water and handed it Gerry. He looked over his outfit and hummed]

"I... was expecting this actually."
