Been wanting to start an art account for a really long time but never had the courage to do so...until now obviously. For my first ever post, here’s some eyes I drew of two of my most favorite fictional characters. Can you tell who they are? 🧛🏻‍♀️

Hi, everyone! My name is Melanie, but most my friends call me Mels. I’ve had so many Tumblrs for years now, but I never had the courage to start one to promote my art. But in the spirit of getting out of my comfort zone, I finally decided to give it a shot.

You probably don't care but heres a few things about me anyways...

I am 18 years old and going to start my first year of college in just a few weeks.

I’m hispanic and live in Texas. All my family immigrated from Mexico before I was born so I take my culture very seriously. As a first generation to be born in the US for my family, I always strive to show how amazing and worthy my family is of living here just like everyone.

My goal is to become a psychologist primarily for children and maybe incorporate my love for painting, drawing, etc. with my career to do art therapy.

After I graduate college, I plan to volunteer with the peace corps so I can experience the culture and livelihoods of those not as fortunate as I have been blessed to be in life.

I’ve been into art since I was a baby. I know it seems like everyone says that but it’s true. I have photo proof!

My art sucks, but I’m looking to improve and be as great as some of the other artists I admire on Tumblr.

Lastly, I’m actually not goth. Since I can remember, my friends and family have always teased me for wearing dark clothing. Not sure that qualifies me as being goth but hey I might as well embrace it.
