My shoulder should not be messed up for two weeks because I ''woke up wrong''.
Someone should invent bones that don't ache all the time.
God should not have given me free will.
Context: this is our shopping list chalkboard. It is 01:53 in the morning. No one will find out what I've done until at least 7.
And they will know it was me.
Alone in the kitchen doing the cancan because normal hobbies are a waste of time.
98 rabbits.
Felted rabbit made some time around 3am
Somehow only took roughly two hours
Slightly random but I have just found out that the Lego Batman movie was regarded as "gay propaganda" not for the scene at the end where Batman and the Joker exchange "I hate you"s while getting into each other's eyes but the scène where Dick Grayson the small child says "I used to have no dans then I had one dad and now I have two days" because it insinuated that Bruce Wayne and Batman could possibly be in a gay relationship.
This is fine but a kid saying he has two dads is a problem?
‘The Lego Batman Movie’ has been widely embraced as both an excellent follow-up to 2014’s ‘The Lego Movie,’ and one of the best big screen t
Good fucking heck what on earth is wrong with people?
Pay no mind to the fact none of the colours make sense, I don't like trying to make skin tones
I am going to add 3D flowers to the space below using multiple techniques (crochet, felt, dried flowers, wire flowers, tissue paper, etc)
I feel like it would be a lot easier for people to argue AI everything isn't bad if the people who were leading the development of it weren't so cartoonishly evil.
Do you guys ever wonder if shapeshifters have to consciously rearrange their organs so everything still functions properly or if that just happens when they decide to shapeshift into something?
I've always been curious about how much you need to know about something to shapeshift into it (if that were possible). Would you need to know how to reconstruct your organs? Could you make yourself taller by shapeshifting to have longer legs? Would that be difficult to maintain because you'd need to make the conscious effort to keep that shape and make sure none of your veins or muscles do anything funny? Can you accidentally shapeshift? If you do then what are the repercussions? Could you accidentally shapeshift your heart to be on the wrong side of your body? What does a shapeshifter look like as a fetus? Are shapeshifters mammals? If you get a disease can you shapeshift to fix it? If you get cancer can you just fix that? If you get a virus and now that virus is in you, can you shapeshift the virus with your body or do you keep the virus no matter what form you're in? If you shapeshift into an inanimate object what happens to your organs? If a shapeshifter turns into a washing machine would you need to plug them into a power source to use them? What happens if something breaks the object they've shapeshifted into while they're that object? Do they maintain that injury in their original form? Can they be injured? If they get an injury can they not just shapeshift to fix it?
The logistics of being a shapeshifter sound like a nightmare.
Werewolves and vampires definitely seem to suggest that all of the organ stuff is sorted out by instinct but as those only exist in fantasy (much like shapeshifters themselves -to my knowledge-) it is difficult to say whether they are an accurate portrayal of how shapeshifting would work in real life.
For the spider I accidentally drowned when I tried to do the washing up
There was a spider in the sink today.
Not much washing up to do so I guess I won't worry.
The spider wasn't in the sink today.
I'll do the washing tomorrow, I'm not in a hurry.
It's still in the sink today.
I think it's trapped but I could get it out.
I'll do that tomorrow.
I can't see it in the sink today.
I guess it has to be somewhere about.
I'll find it tomorrow.
I need to do the washing today.
I can't see the spider, I'm sure it's fine.
I turn on the tap.
I don't see the spider today.
It's not floating in the water, not mine.
I turn off the tap.
There isn't a spider in the sink today.
It's already washed away.
Rip spider.
The panic attack you gave me after I realised I had killed you was not worth the washing up.
Every good orb needs to have a creepy tree.

You can kind of tell I needed to practice drawing dynamic poses by the fact that I drew this twice and she was in a different pose both times.
Cheerful facial expressions are difficult and I could not be bothered to draw that many ruffles in her outfit. Am I proud of it? Yes. Do I think I could have done better? Absolutely.

I have no love for this piece. The sketch is messy and the face doesn't look right. The dress is alright and I'm happy with the hands, but since I was trying to draw people, it doesn't really feel right to say that the things I already know how to draw make this good.

I really focused on the fabric for this although I did eventually remember I was practicing drawing faces. Please ignore the shoulder being at the wrong angle.
Also, this is another reference that now has the AI-modified tag so any mistakes are not my fault.

Still not really practicing faces but this turned out so well anyway. I was also not practicing drawing roses which is why it's very simplified in every iteration.
The fabric and hand worked out well (especially in the close up on the hand) and I think I drew the neck at a bit of an odd angle on the close up but it doesn't look like it's broken so I'll take that as a win.

Fun fact about this piece is that the mechanical pencil I was using broke. I still had the lead so I was drawing with that which is why it's much more scratchy and not as accurate as the other one I posted (man with a fish).
I drew this because I realised I hadn't actually drawn people interacting and what better interaction than beating someone up. Despite it being scratchy and rough and not very accurate, I'm still happy with how this turned out, especially the close up on the face, because bear in mind that I was drawing with a broken pencil lead.

Fabric. Not my favourite. Also not really related to me practicing drawing faces but I still drew it.
While revisiting this pin so I could properly credit it I noticed it now has the 'AI-modified' tag. And although I don't see any difference from when I used it as a reference (it was two years ago since I last looked at it though so take that with a grain of salt) I'm going to use that to claim that any mistakes I made were just things that were changed.

This is from 17:41 26th Dec 2024 back when I couldn't draw people but needed to for my final piece (which was shit anyway) so I was looking for references on Pinterest and found this gem.
I don't think I have ever been more proud of a piece than this one.
I can see many issues in the pose and expression but as someone who despises side profiles, this is something I'm genuinely proud of and I'd like to acknowledge that by forcing other people to see it.
I have more art from 2024 that I will be posting (along with links to the reference photos).
Got bored so I made a flesh-tagon (flesh pentagon)
And yes, the eye is removable.
I'm thinking I might make it into a flower or something. I'm definitely planning to add blood in the form of beads.
I might also make skin to go on top of it that you can peel back. I could attach them with the bloody beads.
UPDATE ON THE FLESHTAGON:
I made more eyes instead of making it skin (some are even topical for February)
See? So topical!
Guess who's back! (It's me)
You guys hit the jackpot
Also, don't you guys just love drawing hands? I do.
Also meet the funky fake reptile that makes no anatomical sense because it's not supposed to but I love him
Beautiful.
