Dead 50 exceeded all of my expectations and despite having severe reservations about dusting off the genuine-article moniker, it was indeed the first time since 1995 that I felt like I was indeed seeing The Grateful Dead. And I won’t lie: I cried like a baby through the double encore.
It was also beautiful meeting a few of you, who somehow recognized me through some of the arcane occasional autobiographical tidbits that end up here.
More later. I gotta get some real sleep.
