Justice?

Is it possible that one could gain justice with the the whole world supporting it? There will never be a such a situation. what is right for maybe wrong for the other. But does this mean that all crimes be left unpunished? Why should there be long judicial systems with so many loop holes, if all it can do is protect the criminals?

Rape is a crime. It is murder actually, murder of the victim’s conscience. It is brutal and more violent than killing for the person lives with a distorted identity. The society never forgets even though they easily forgive. The victim will be disgraced and soon gain either mistrust and contempt or some unwanted sympathy. The convict will soon be cleansed of his crimes and be adapted into the society( everyone deserves a ‘second chance’).

But there will a filing of case and their will ‘rigorous’ investigation. Why this false parade? Why this mockery of an individual? Justice should prevail. The blindfold is not for throwing a blind on crimes but to punish criminals unbiased. Justice is a strength, a fundamental right, that provides impetus to live. Please do not tar her! Please do not use her for saving convicts! Please let her punish those who try to cast bloody hands on her daughters!

Death - As An Opening in The Sixth Sense.

The role of Dr. Malcolm Crowe ( Bruce Willis) : His death opens up to him the world of the dead to which he remains blind. Being dead he helps the child, treats him, and completes the wishes of many dead people. He even finds retribution from his guilt ridden conscience. This developed from his knowing that he had not helped the first boy ( his patient, when he was alive) identify the problem and bring him in to reconciliation with his condition. After death, he is not aware of his condition which leads him to be irritated by the fact that his wife was getting intimate with someone else. From his view he was having a strained relationship and that's all the spectator gets to know, at that point. Later he realises through the boy that he is dead too. This is a revelation that he easily comes into terms with. He too finds a completion of his life's purpose and retreats satisfied. He is opening himself through death, finds a cause and fulfills it. Death is the trigger that expands his horizons and creates a tumultuous dismantling only to open up a gate that leads him to a further, a place where he is to be.

Music unbound

And I listened to the Sarod Theme from the album Piku for the hundredth time… Words would fall short in the praise of such a perfect piece of art, so full of soul and life. One could die listening it and feel accomplished. It is wonder how it correspondes without words. It is the precious feeling of music murmuring the intense secrets of the ecstatic world of emotions, pouring one by one, so smooth, yet not too slow, everything just the right amount. Everytime it is new and each gives a novel meaning. It tempts to cry and yet to laugh and feel presence in every way. It takes to tranquillity and encloses that beating swiftness into warmth. It's an awakening, an opening, a touch.

We live in a world of concepts created by people who lived in concepts created by some other people who again believed in concepts by others and on and on… Oh! This is going so unreal. The question was there a time when anything was real? Original? Not hoping that there was some time like that it’s hard because man is inherently made to be independent on others and to copy others. There is no person who has made him unique, even though there are people who say everyone is unique. Here I may roll my eyes but that doesn’t do enough. There is the search for a time devoid of all those theories, hypothesis and whatever.

We live in a world little known to us. There uncountable number of people out there yet we prefer to think ourselves different and unique from everyone. In this process we do ignore the simple realities and beauties of life. We don't even have a solid reason to explain why we live. Even then we live, trying more hard each day to be that person of our own making. Do we know that everything is important? Cities get smarter and nature depletes. New people come with their stories. To some we give a place crushing ourselves to make space and some remain unknown, unseen. They work on their life like we do and maybe we are invisible in their lives too. It's like a funny cycle,everything connected to everything and we talk about independence. Oh! I wish to sigh at this sarcasm life has made of us.

Shaken words gave way to broken words, yet the element of sorrow was not shared, nor did the understanding part. A particular kind of suffocation entrusted upon the self. But tears wouldn't hold nor the pain it will all give way to depression.

The Mistress Lady White

The white pristine, silhouetting her tender self, Along with dry thorny background of thick forest, A damsel in distress, she sits in hearty daze On that chair, rocking herself, comforting that Troubled questioning self, pondering whether To be or not to be. Shattered leaves of just silence creeps upon her Memory of days past, days she never had rights on, Days of umpteen dryness, brown and cracking, Fossil like, shuddering in winds harsh as they pass Frowning in cracks of broken bits, ignored, musing To be or not to be. Her lips drought struck, stung from that kisses of hate Supporting that countenance of subtle confusion, Flaunting masks of indifference, keeping safety and far Cries for help, love and joy; flapping curtains of white, Illkempt hair of dry brown, adorning her incertitude To be or not to be. Astir black dots swimming denizens of conscious fright Reddened lips fear apart, shining piece of desire, lust, Bridging them the humble nose of quite a beauty measure, Blushed up cheeks of made up pretty self, host of lies, Pieces of furniture ponders , embellishing the bland treasure, To be or not to be. Rays of sun that sparkle upon her hair, under whelmed Leaves split and thin, reflections of a once noble heart Unto shallow thoughts do sing praises of wretched love Where there should have been engraved soft meek utterances Drizzling with calm, yet hapless stour heart does sing To be or not to be.
