i apologize in advance for this, english isn't my first language and i'm not very experienced with writing fan fictions myself but hopefully you'll like it.

PART ONE. VILLES POV.
I had just come home from college, it had been a long day as usual, but thankfully the weekend was just around the corner and I could spend my time on anything else than sitting at the school bench, listening to the professor yap about what not.
First thing I did once I got home was to kick my old, beaten down converses off of my feet before walking into the house, where I was greeted by my parents, sitting by the table and drinking their afternoon cup of coffee. I gave them a nod before I began walking up the stairs.
“Hold on, Ville.” My mom said, stopping me in my steps. I spun around to look at her with a brow cocked. “Hm?”
My mom looked up at me over the newspaper, before she put it down on the table in front of her. “I hope you haven’t forgotten that we’re going over to Mrs. and Mr. Addams for dinner this evening.” A sigh escaped me, and I ran a hand through my hair. I had absolutely forgotten about that.
“Of course not.” I replied, lying before I turned around again, making my way up the stairs that would lead me to my bedroom. Once I got inside, I flopped down on my messy bed, another sigh leaving me. My eyes wandered over my room as I laid in silence, kind of cursing to myself that I had to go over to my neighbor's house. Though I wasn’t going to let that interrupt my plans for later this evening. My hand went to my front pocket, trying to dig out my cellphone from it. I brought it to my face, my one arm resting behind my head. My thumb ran over the buttons as I began typing in a message to my friend, Linde, explaining to him that I’ll be late, before pressing send.
I tossed my phone down onto my mattress before I sat up in my bed, scratching my head slightly. My plan for tonight, like many other weekends, was to go to my friend's house, getting myself absolutely plastered, listen to vinyl's and just hang out. I had been looking forward to this the whole day, and I was sort of bummed about the fact that I couldn’t go sooner.
However, I wasn’t going to let that affect me and bring my mood down for now, I still had to get ready for dinner, so I pushed myself off the bed and got up, heading over to my own bathroom. I needed a shower, to say the least.
I got myself undressed and tossed my clothes across the room onto the toilet seat before getting into the shower cabin. My shoulders relaxed as the hot water ran over my body, warming me up from inside and out. I went on with the shower, washing my hair and body before I got out. I wrapped a towel around my hips, letting it hang loosely there before I took a glance in the mirror, my eyes running over my tattooed, skinny body.
I sighed slightly as I walked back to my bedroom and up to my wardrobe and I opened the doors to it, my eyes scanning over the clothes as I tried to decide on what to wear this evening. My hand reached out to grab a washed out, black, V-neck t-shirt and then a pair of black skinny jeans. I threw it onto the bed before I put on some underwear, then I got into my outfit. I turned around to face the mirror hanging on the wall next to my door. My hands went up to my face, running my fingers through my hair, pushing it out of my face.
The time was now slightly after 6pm and I grabbed my leather jacket hanging on a chair by my desk, and I threw it carelessly over my one shoulder before heading back downstairs. My mom was pacing around the house, stressed as usual as she looked for her silver jewelry. Once she saw me, a smile formed on her painted red lips.
“You look handsome!” She said as she stopped in her movements. I gave her a quick smile and a nod before she continued talking. “You know, their daughter is gonna join us tonight aswell.” She added.
My brows furrowed together as this was new information to me, I had met my neighbors a couple of times since they were good friends with my parents, however I had no idea that they had a daughter at all.
“Her name is Danielle, she’s two years younger than you, but I’m sure you’ve seen her at college.” My mother said as she began pacing around the house again, back to her stressed state. I couldn’t help but stand there frozen in my spot, meeting new people wasn’t one of my favorite things to do, and for my mom to just throw this in my face had a nervous lump forming in my stomach.
I tried to shake the feeling off of me, not wanting to overthink it all and have that ruin my evening. I went to the front of the house to get into my shoes yet again. My dad wasn’t far behind me, and he began asking the regular questions, how I’m doing, if the band is growing, when my next gig is, if there’s a new girl that’s piqued my interest so far. I responded the way I always do but couldn’t help myself from smiling at his questions. I’ve never been the one to really be interested in girls, and honestly, I think my friends are to blame, since when we were teenage boys all they could think about was ladies. The number of times I’ve had to fifth wheel them, me strumming on the guitar as I try not to care about them both making out with one girl each next to me. It’s been awkward, but I’ve learned how to deal with it even if it’s been against my will.
Once my mother had finally gathered the things she needed, we all walked across the street to Mrs. And Mr. Addams house, and I couldn’t help but feel the slight nervousness building up inside me yet again.
We reached the porch, and my mom knocked on the door, clutching onto the bottle of wine she had brought as a ‘thank you’ gift. After a couple seconds the door swung open and the familiar face of Mrs. Addams met us with a grin. She greeted us and invited us in, and my mom handed over the wine bottle as they were making casual conversations.
“I am so excited!” Mrs. Addams said. “The dinner is pretty much already served, Danielle and John are sat by the table, so you came in perfect time.” I listened to my parents and their friend talk as I kicked my shoes off yet again and turned around to hang my jacket on a coat hanger before I followed them deeper in the house. I’ve been here a few times before, not many, but enough to know my way around on the first floor at least.
We all walked into the kitchen, and I took a seat by the table, looking across the room, where I’m met by a pair of brown eyes that I’ve never seen before. I figured right away that must be Danielle. We looked at each other for a brief moment, before Mrs. Addams interrupted us once again.
“Ville, dear. Could you pass me the bowl of peas in front of you?” She said and my gaze flickered over to her. I cleared my throat before nodding, as I reached out to grab it, passing it over the table. “Of course, Mrs. Addams.” I said politely, giving her a quick smile before they all began talking again, making boring, grownups conversations.
The dinner goes on smoothly, a little bit awkward but I manage to live through it. Once in a while, me and Danielle would steal glances on one another, letting our gaze linger for a few seconds. We had all finished our food after about forty minutes and was excused from the table, my parents helped cleaning up and I walked into the living room.
My eyes wandered over one of the walls in their living room, there was hanging a bunch of pictures on there from different occasions. I’ve never really taken them all in before, maybe that’s why I had been clueless about Danielle. My hands were resting in my front pockets and suddenly I heard a voice behind me.
“Hey.” I jumped slightly, turning around quickly to see Danielle now looking at me. My brows raised as she let out a quite laughter. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” She said, as an amused smile lingered on her lips.
“No, I’m sorry.” I said as my own lips curled up slightly. “I, uh...” A moment of silence was shared between us two as I tried to figure out what to say next, and a sigh escaped my throat. “I was just about to leave, anyways, so...” I added.
Danielle looked at me, her brows furrowed together slightly in confusion. “Oh? So soon?” She said, a hint of disappointment in her voice as she kept her gaze on me.
“No, yeah...” My eyes flickered between her and over her shoulder, trying to see if my parents would disturb us soon, then I continued speaking. “I’m going on a walk.”
Danielles confused look changed into a more suspected expression, as her eyes burned on me. “... A walk?” A smile curled up on her lips as she tilted her head slightly to the side. I knew she wasn’t buying it, and I shifted awkwardly where I was standing.
“Yeah, a walk.” I said, trying my best to convince her, though I knew she didn’t believe me for one second. She continued looking at me, clearly suspicious before she spoke up again. “Can I join?” Her hands went into her back pocket as she leaned slightly on her left leg.
I stood there in silence for a few seconds as my eyes went up to meet her, my mind slightly conflicted. It’s not like me inviting other people to our kickbacks, especially not a girl that I’ve never met before. However, after a moment of considering I let out a sigh, then spoke up again. “Sure, but we’re leaving now.”
I said as I brushed past her and walked to the front door. I put my converses on before getting my leather jacket from the coat hanger, throwing it once again over my shoulder before I spun around, calling for Danielle. “Are you coming or not?”
Then I felt someone push me to the side, as a laughter filled the air, and the door swung open. My brows furrowed together, and I looked to the door, where Danielle was now standing. “I’m literally waiting for you.” She said, smiling. My eyes rolled back as a barely noticeable smirk formed on my lips, and I walked out to her, the door closing behind us before we began making our way down the street.
The air was fresh, the sun still shining before it set in the horizon, painting the trees, the walls and rest of the environment around us orange. We walked in silence for a little while before I took my cellphone out of my back pocket, and I began dialing the number to Linde before bringing the phone to my ear, waiting for him to pick up.
I felt Danielle glancing over to me now and then as I told him I was on the way, before finishing the conversation. “Cool, we’ll be there in 10.” I hung up and put my phone back into my pocket, then I glanced over to Danielle who was already looking at me. “Where are we even going?” She asked.
“To my friends' garage.” I responded to her as I shifted my gaze from her, to in front of me as we continued walking. I could still feel her looking at me, but I tried my best to ignore it. “What’s happening at your friends’ garage?”
She asked again, and now I was forced to look back at her. “I am gonna get shit faced, listen to loud music and yap. There’re not many people there though, only four.” I answered her, and I noticed how she was slightly taken aback by my response, which she just nodded to. I wasn’t sure if this was such a good idea, but only time would tell, and I wasn’t going to tell her to go back home now. “Wow, edgy.” She just added.
I decided to just ignore her comment.
Once we got closer, I could hear loud music blasting from my friend's house, and a smile formed on my lips, this is all I had been looking forward to the whole week. I stopped at the driveway and my hand went into the pocket of my leather jacket, fishing out my box of cigarettes. I took one out and placed it between my lips. “Can I have one as well?” Danielle said, interrupting me in my movements. I looked over at her with a raised brow. “Aren’t you like sixteen?” I answered her jokingly, before I brought my lighter to the cigarette. I inhaled deeply as I ignited the cig, gathering the smoke in my lungs. Danielle rolled her eyes at me. “I’m eighteen.” She replied as I exhaled the smoke.
“I know, I’m just messing with you.” I said before I handed her a cigarette, and she mimicked me and placed it between her lips. I watched her for a split second before I reached my hand over, my eyes staying on her as I lit her cigarette. She hollowed her cheeks, her lips wrapped around the yellow part of the cig before she removed it and took a deep breath. I felt a pang of mixed emotion in my chest at the sight, but I decided to shake it off for now.
We exchanged a few words before we began walking up the driveway now, heading to the backdoor of the garage. My hand went up to grasp the handle, before I took a final drag from the cigarette, and I tossed it to the ground. “Ladies first.” I said casually, opening the door for Danielle as the sound of music got significantly higher. She looked up at me with a shy smile before she took a few steps inside, me shortly after her.
My eyes wandered around the garage, a few instruments and speakers standing in one corner, an empty bookshelf, a mini bar in the other corner. On the other side of the room was a beaten down couch, a bean bag and a couple chairs and a table in the middle of the room. There were a few cigarette butts laying scattered around on the floor, most of them probably mine, together with empty beer cans. It wasn’t very clean in here, I admit, thought I enjoyed hanging out here. I could be myself here.
We walked up to my friends, and I greeted them with a simple wave as Danielle was standing slightly in front of me, shifting awkwardly, as my friends’ curious eyes flickered between the two of us. Mige went to turn down the music a notch. “Now who the fuck is that?” He said, and I snorted slightly, trying to hold a laughter in.
“Calm down.” I responded. “Her name’s Danielle, I’m babysitting her for tonight.” A snicker left my friends, but Mige didn’t seem too sure about her, I could tell by the way he eyed her. “What, so you just decided to take her here?” He said, leaning back in the couch as he crossed his arms over his chest. My eyes rolled back before I responded. “Yeah, I did, got a problem with that?” My eyes went to meet his, and I narrowed my gaze, letting him know that this isn’t the time to start bickering. He just muttered something as he shrugged.
I turned to Danielle, who seemed a little puzzled in where she was standing as everyone was still looking at her like she was some sort of alien. “Don’t mind them.” I said, and she looked up at me. “Would you want something to drink?” My head tilted to the side as I asked her. “Sure, do you have beer?” She responded rather quietly, and a smirk took form on my lips. “Do we have beer?” I responded, as it was a rather dumb question.
I turned around and walked over to the mini bar, leaving her there with my friends, and right away they began talking to her, asking her a bunch of questions. “So, how do you know Ville?” I heard one of them ask her, meanwhile I grabbed two bottles of beer from the mini bar. “We’re Neighbours and our parents are friends.” She responded. I wasn’t completely listening, but I could hear them talk as I opened the capsules of the bottles. “Are you like, his girlfriend?” Mige asked, making me snort again, shaking my head before I walk over to them again. My one hand reached out to Danielle, giving her the bottle. “She’s not my girlfriend, I haven’t even met her before today.” I said to them.
Danielle brought the bottle to her lips and took a sip from the beer, and I could tell she tried her best not to make a face. “I’m just trying to wrap my head around the whole thing, that’s all.” Linde now chimed in, my eyes darting over to him.
A part of me understood how it was all weird, like I mentioned before, me bringing other people with me is extremely rare, especially a girl. But I don’t understand what the fuzz is all about. I just sighed as I sat down on the couch now, next to Mige.
“You can sit anywhere you like, Danielle.” One of the other guys said, and I looked at her. She gave him a quick smile before she sat down on the bean bag across from us. She brought her knees up to her as she wrapped her arms around her legs, the beef bottle resting in her one hand. My eyes stayed glued onto her for a few seconds, but the second she looked my way, I quickly looked somewhere else, joining in on the conversation between my friends.
We kept talking for a while, drinking our beers as the music played in the background. Then, Mige cleared his throat as he stood up from the couch. “Anyone want a shot?” My ears perked at this. Pretty much anyone chimed in, agreeing on shots. Mige walked over to the mini bar to pick out a bottle of strong liquor, then he came back to us.
“We’re not fancy enough to carry shot glasses with us here, so you’ll have to drink straight from the bottle.” He said as he reached the bottle out for Danielle. She looked at him, a raised brow before she looked at me. I just nodded, indicating that it’s okay. She grabbed the bottle and screwed the lid off, before bringing the bottle to her lips. I could tell she hesitated, but then she took a swing from it. A disgusted expression took form on her face, and I couldn’t help but chuckle slightly. She passed the bottle over to the next person, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
The bottle was passed around between all of us, when it reached me, I took three big chugs. The burning sensation lingered, going down my throat. Even I struggled to keep my face straight, but I managed.
Then the conversation kept going, the alcohol starting to affect me, my cheeks flushing red and my body feeling slightly hot. The bottle was still passed around but not in the same pace as in the start, my hand went up to run a finger through my hair, pushing some of it out of my face. I looked over across to where I was sitting, and I met the brown eyes of Danielle again. We looked at each other, and a small smile took form on her lips, which transmitted over to me and the corner pf my lips curled up as well. It felt good to have her here, it felt natural in a way even though Mige had some complaining to do, but he’s usually like that.
I was interrupted by one of my friends who waved their hand in front of my face, and I snapped out of it, looking over to him with a raised brow. “What?” I said, and a chuckle left him. “Pass the bottle, man, you’ve held onto it for a while now.”
“Oh.” I said as I took the lid off of the bottle, before taking a swig from it then I passed it over to my friends. A sigh escaped me as I leaned back into the cushions of the sofa, my one arm came to rest behind my head. My eyes wandered over the room, over to the instruments. “Mige, pass me the fender.” I said to him, and like I asked he brought it to me.
I took the guitar and positioned it carefully in my lap, my left hand gripping the neck of it before I began plucking the strings effortlessly and the sound of my playing became a background noise, together with the music coming from the stereo as the people around me continued talking.
We sat like that for a while, passing the bottle around, me strumming on the guitar as the alcohol began to make me feel more and more loopy.
“I’m bored.” Mige then said, and I moved my eyes from the guitar, over to him. “Yeah?” I said, and he just nodded, so did a few of the other people. “We could play beer pong?” Danielle chimed in, and I couldn’t help but feel slightly impressed by her suggestion, causing a barely noticeable smile forming on my lips. I put the guitar to the side, carefully laying it down next to me.
“I didn’t know you had that in you.” Linde said to her, also smiling. She just shrugged, but I could tell she was proud to bring that up. I pushed myself off of the couch, Mige and Linde got up from their seats too. “How do we play, one against one?” I asked as I looked over to the guys, who then looked to each other. “I think we should play us two against you and Danielle, the losing team has to take two shots each.” Mige said, and a smirk grew on his lips.
My eyes rolled back slightly, and Linde went over to the mini bar, getting a few beers together with some red cups to get it all positioned right on the table standing in the middle of the garage. Danielle just peered over at me, a part of me was wishing she’d be good at this or else I wouldn’t get to hear anything else for a couple weeks.
Once it was all settled, we went on each side of the table, facing each other. Linde rolled the ball over to me, and I catched it in my one hand. My eyes flickered between Danielle and the ball for a brief moment, before I handed it over to her. “You first, doll.” I said to her, a smile plastered on my slight flushed face. I wasn’t sober, that’s one thing we could agree on, but I could also get much worse.
Danielles eyes roamed over my arm, then up to my face, she gave me a hesitant look and I just answered with a reassuring nod. She took the ball from my hand, her fingertips grazing my skin so slightly. I don’t know if it’s the alcohol talking, but it felt like they lingered there for a second. I tried to ignore it, but the feeling of her skin against mine had me feeling hot all of a sudden.
I cleared my throat as she got ready, leaning over the table with squinted eyes with the ball in a steady grip in her hand. My eyes lingered on her for a second, her long hair resting over her back, the way her skin exposed slightly between the hem of her shirt and her pants. My face flushed red again, and I had to force my gaze away from her. All of a sudden my interest had piqued for a girl, which pretty much had never happened before. Heck, I’ve barely kissed a girl.
I snapped out of it as she threw the ball, and I watched eagerly with anticipation... And it was a miss. A cheer came from across the table, as a sigh left Danielle. I had to bite the inside of my cheek to not laugh as she turned around to face me, giving me a “I’m sorry.” look.
Mige went to pick the ball off of the ground, he blew it off quickly before he positioned himself, getting ready to toss the ball. I looked over at Linde, who was quietly cheering him on, and then he made his shot. It hit one of the cups on the lid, and I thought he failed, until it bounced into one of the other ones, landing in it with a plopping sound. “Damn it.” I said, shaking my head as I grabbed the cup with a smile. I took the ball out of the cup, before bringing the lid to my lips. I downed half of it, the bitter taste lingering on my tongue as I passed the other half over to Danielle. She downed the rest of it, my eyes glued to her as she did. She put the cup down on the side of the table.
I threw the ball back at Mige and Linde, and one of them catched it midair. Then they got ready again, basically doing the same ritual, before throwing the ball again. This time however, they missed, and I exhaled the breath I seemed to be holding. Danielle went to pick the ball up from the floor, as my hand went into my back pocket, digging out my pack of cigarettes. I took one out and placed it between my lips before lighting it. I took a quick drag, then I let the cigarette rest between my lips.
Danielle reached the ball over to me, and I took it from her hand. The scent of cigarette filled the air as the smoke danced in front of me, and I placed one hand on the table, leaving forward as I tried to measure the distance between me and the cups in my drunken state. I peered over my shoulder, looking at Danielle who was already watching me, and I cocked a half smile at her. “This is how it’s done, doll.” I mumbled with the cigarette dangling between my lips before I turned back around again, and threw the ball. Without a fail, it landed in one of the cups. A proud smile took form on my lips as I stood up straight, Danielle letting out a surprised laugh next to me as she came to nudge me slightly in the side. My arm went up to rest on her shoulder as I looked down to her, my body leaning slightly against hers.
Our eyes met for a brief moment, the way the dim light danced over her face brought out the natural contours of her cheeks, lips and nose. She looked really pretty, I must admit.
Then we kept playing for a while, taking turns on throwing the ball and making fun of one another when we’d miss. Our other two friends watched us and cheered us on when we had to chug the beer. The last ball was thrown, and even though it was a really close game, and it looked dark for me and Danielle, we somehow managed to win.
At this point, all of us were pretty slurred as the alcohol really had catched up on us. My eyes felt heavy, and my vision was slightly blurred, Danielle was pretty drunk herself and I could tell she was holding onto the table to support her self.
My eyes went up to the clock hanging on the wall above the couch, and it showed 04:34, and my stomach dropped slightly. I had practically kidnapped Danielle without saying a word to her parents, nor mine, though I wasn’t so worried about myself. My parents knew I usually would go out and come home late, and as long as I didn’t end up in jail or dead in a pitch they only shrugged at it. However, I didn’t know if Danielles parents were okay with her being gone for so long without letting them know, and I hadn’t noticed her on her phone either so I just assumed they had no clue where she was.
“Alright guys, I’ve had a good time, but I think we’ve got to go.” I said as I walked up to Danielle, who was talking to the group, mocking Mige for his loss. She turned around to look at me over her shoulder, pouting. “Come on, already?” She said whining, her head tilted to the side. “Already? It’s half past five in the morning, I bet your parents wonder where the hell you went.” I said with a playful tone, which her face dropped to. She stood up straight aswell.
“Fuck, god damnit.” She mumbled as she looked over to the clock, her teeth tugging at her bottom lip. “I had no clue.” I watched her as she pushed herself off the table, stumbling slightly where she was standing. I just sighed, the playful smile still lingering on my lips. “Exactly, so we have to go.” I said. “Now.”
My hand went to her back, pushing her slightly as we began making our way to the back door. I turned around and waved to my friends, and they waved back. Once we were outside the cold air hit me, making the skin on my tattooed arms knot. Danielle let out a huttering sound and my gaze went to meet hers. “Are you cold?” I asked her, to which she replied by shaking her head as her arms went up to wrap around her body, obviously lying. A sigh escaped me as I took my leather jacket out, reaching it over to her as we walked. “Here.” I said, and she glanced over to me. “I’m not c-...” She began saying before I interrupted her. “Take it.”
She hesitated for a second, looking between me and the jacket before she finally gave in. “Fine.” She muttered as she grabbed it in her own hands. Before threading it over her arms. Even though I was pretty skinny myself, it had a loose fit on her small shoulders.
We continued walking in silence, the cool spring air making me sober up a little bit and it was easier to walk now. Or at least focus on it was easier. Danielle once in a while cursed to herself as she stumbled over her own feet, and I tried my best not to giggle at it.
After 10 minutes, we reached our street, and my eyes went to her. “Let me follow you to the door.” I said and she just nodded in return.
Once we had reached her porch, by the house we had been eating dinner earlier on and aswell meeting for the first time, she turned around to face me as she stood on the first step. Her eyes lingered on me for a second, and I didn’t know where to really look. “I had really fun tonight.” She said, slurring slightly. “Yeah?” I said, now looking up at her, my hair falling into my face. “Me too.”
“I’ll text you.” She said, and I swear my heart just did a double backflip in my chest by those words. I’ve never had a girl text me before after hanging out, not that it bothered me though, but it felt different this time. I nodded. “Good.” We stood in silence for a brief moment before she placed a hand on my shoulder, pulling me closer to her, and then placed a quick kiss on my cheek. My brows furrowed together as she pulled away, letting go off my shoulder before she turned around and walked inside.
I stood there, frozen in my place, as my mind began to race at the same speed as my heart. I was taken aback by her sudden kiss, and I couldn’t really place on how it made me feel. Once she had closed the door behind her, a smile formed on my lips.
I turned my back around and walked across the street to my own house, sneaking quietly inside to not disturb my family before I got up to my bedroom. I threw myself onto the bed, laying down on the back as my eyes wandered over the tiles in my roof. I laid there for a long time, my mind spinning before I finally fell asleep.
