this image has had a chokehold on me for MONTHS
getting sk!nee so that if i accidentally step on my cat again i might not hurt him as bad as i would have at my cw 😞
it's sooo much easier to have an £d as an adult than as a teenager, literally no one cares if you're not eating
im genuinely the sized of a beached whale. how could i let myself get this bad.
Reasons not to binge
1. There was never a binge which made you feel better after.
2. You will strengthen your discipline.
3. The meal the next day after not binging will taste 100x more delicious.
4. You will most likely ruin your progress from the last 5 days or so.
5. It is the most disgusting feeling.
6. You will stay or get fat.
7. Your appetite will increase which will higher the risk of a second binge.
8. Food is incredibly expensive.
9. Every Binge will strengthen the habit.
Reasons to lock in now so you can be skinny by Summer:
ice cold diet coke
fresh fruit
wearing their way too lose jacket when it gets chilly in the evening
feeling good in short skirts
everyone seeing your process
not sweating as much
having a clearer skin
wearing your hair open/ wavy without feeling too big
sleeping in underwear
having more stamina for walks / hikes
bikins
tanning without feeling to hide your body
your legs not rubbing together
still being skinny after a big meal
being the skinniest on family photos

The Vibe: Less "punishment," more "main character energy."
The List:
Romanticize your water. Buy the cute bottle. Put lemon slices in it. Act like it’s a magic potion for your skin (because it is).
The "Two-Bite" Rule. If you crave the cake, eat the cake. But take two mindful bites, savor them fully, and then ask yourself: Do I actually want more, or did I just want the taste? Usually, the taste is enough.
Walk like you’re in a movie. Put on your best playlist. Pretend you are the main character in an indie film. Walking isn't "cardio" anymore; it's your mental health hour.
Stop waiting to be "skinny" to be happy. Wear the outfit now. Take the picture now. Hating your current body will not help you build a better one. You can't heal a body you despise.
Sleep is a fat burner. Literally. If you are sleep-deprived, your body holds onto stress and fat. Go to bed.
Add, don't subtract. Instead of saying "I can't have pizza," say, "I'm going to add a massive salad to this pizza." Volume eating is the hack.
Consistency > Intensity. A 15-minute workout you actually do is infinitely better than the hour-long workout you skipped.

The Reality Check: The time will pass anyway. You can spend the next 6 months complaining about the start date, or you can spend them slowly becoming the person you want to be.

If you can, try not to focus so much on ⭐️v!ng and l0s!ng as quick as possible if you get sick with anything. Turns out that combo is VERY BAD! You can VERY EASILY wind up in h0sp!tal. I know most folks in this community are aware of the dangers of this whole d!s0rder but I just felt like maybe reminding everyone that it’s really not worth your life.

Man, to be skinny by christmas would be an absolute dream. To wear oversized sweaters and look cute and cozy. To eat christmas dinner with my family without feeling self-conscious. For eating a christmas cookie to just be festive and not tainted with guilt.

ꨄ︎ I've used https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html , a website that calculates how many calories you should eat in a day to lose weight, based on your age and height.
ꨄ︎ Weighing your food: this way, you can calculate the exact amount of calories in anything.
ꨄ︎ Only drinking things with 0kcal.
ꨄ︎ Measuring things like your waist, wrists, or thighs every week can help you stay motivated. (Just like with weighing yourself, you want to see the numbers go down, and this gives you a boost.)
ꨄ︎ Eating enough protein: makes you feel full.
ꨄ︎ Rather than saving all of your calories for one unhealthy thing at the end of the day, eat healthy, low kcal snacks gradually during the day to avoid bingeing.
ꨄ︎ When you get the urge to binge, shake up your entire body for about 30 seconds. (This can help to "rewire" the brain by releasing stored tension and trauma, helping to reset the nervous system to a balanced state.)
ꨄ︎ Light exercise can be a great way to burn calories. (Things like walking, taking the stairs, etc.)
