Jared took Ellodi in his arms, rocking her softly in his arms humming a soft lullaby to her as he watched Castiel was away. With his free hand tickling the baby's stomach, hoping to soften her cries to at least a soft crying. He looked back up when Castiel got back, "No problem Cas." He said with a small grin as the baby seemed to take some interest in Jared's hair tugging on it with her small hands, Jared not seeming to mind as he had grown used it by now. "And hey, whenever you need some time for yourself or just want to sleep you can always come drop her off at my house for a while, I still have Thomas' baby swing that she may enjoy playing on." He said looking down at the baby in his arms with a small smile.

He was relieved when he came back, it seemed Ellodi had calmed a bit in Jared's arms - and that knowledge made Castiel nearly melt. He smiled as he watched her play with the larger mans hair and he got an idea after the offer was spoken. He bit his lip and nodded before he spoke; "Maybe I could bring her by sometime. But.. maybe I could come by tonight and you could watch her while I cook something for you and Thomas? Maybe? If you'd like? You're so good with her and she seems to really calm down when you're holding her or just around her." He chewed the inside of his lip; not a date, not a date, not a date, just a friend cooking dinner for a friend as thanks for helping him. that's all.
