The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15 Have you been fearful of what is happening around you? Fear is one of satan’s tools to send us running from our purposed lives, goals, and dreams. If the enemy can convince us to fear the journey ahead (fear of the unknown), we will invariably start doubting God’s promises and will not be able to move forward in the path God has set for us. Instead, we will become locked up in a lonely prison of fear. You are a child of God and no longer a slave to fear. You have been released from the prison of fear and freed to trust Jesus. Fear wants you back in bondage, but God’s love sets you free. Cry Abba Father, and fear not!
Here what God is telling you and me is, “Give Me your weariness, your weakness, your mess-ups, your worries, your fears , your frustrations, and I will give you My strength.” The Bible says in Isaiah 40 30-31, even youths grow tired and weary, but those who hope in the LORD, will renew their strength. That’s God strength in us. And with that strength, we will be able to soar like the eagle, above the wind and the storm. We can be at peace in any and every situation. In these times of hardship, will you go to the Lord for strength?
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you by the renewing your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 The pressure today is to conform, to the culture, the traditions that surround us. You may say, “Isn’t it better to mingle with the crowd and just get along?” But God calls us to stand out. How do we do that? By filling our mind with God’s word and letting Him transform us so that we will know what exactly He wants us to do, how exactly He wants us to live. He Himself will give us the strength and courage to live such a life that will bring glory and honour to His Name.
‘The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life [which inspires me].’

Unless there is a Good Friday in our lives there will never be an Easter Sunday; unless we die to this world, we shall not live to the next; unless there is the crown of thorns, there will never be the halo of light; unless there is the cross, there will never be an empty tomb; unless we lose our life, we shall not find it; unless we are crucified with Christ, we shall never rise with Christ. Such is the plan, and on our choice, depends eternal issues.
