Man, have I been absent here, and that absence will continue for a while longer.  Maybe once Clef finishes with the semester.  But for now, I’m lingering over on Beatrix’s blog over @rcsetorn​ if anyone is interested.  She does have a KH verse as a rogue Nobody~

Now back to why she and Marluxia are here. ❝ So! Why don’t you be a good boy and share what you’ve learned so far? Sharing IS caring after all, right? You and your keyblade crowd are all about that after all. ❞

~❁`~     Larxene did have a captivating appeal when it came to those she didn’t like.  Moments before, she wanted him to do the talking and here she was getting to the point of the matter in her own way.  Larxene did well to point out that as Zexion, Ienzo would have stood more of a chance combating their encounter.  The three of them knew that.

     Ienzo’s attention uncomfortably shifted from Larxene inspecting his computer to the other Nobody who never moved since arrival.  Even through the layer of fear, a scientist’s curiosity could not be hindered.  “Of all people, what do you two want with heart research?”

     Marluxia laughed dryly as if the reason wasn’t extremely important for an outsider to know- which it wasn’t.  “You could say we’ve discovered a newfound interest.  And who better to indulge our curiosity than Ansem the Wise’s own shining pupil?”  Or at least the Vexen’s more reliable alternative where the elder scientist was still bitter from Castle Oblivion.

     “Members I through VIII of the old Organization held memories of their past lives, while those which joined thereafter did not.  Aberrant, isn’t it?  Clearly there is deliberate obstacle barring our path in remembering.”  Pink tresses dusted his shoulders where his head swayed in feigned disappointment.  “This is where you come in, Ienzo."

It’d be nice to have a Naminé.  There are some little sister vibes from her, assuming this after KH3 or an AU when Marlu actually has some memories.  I feel like he would try to be protective over her, almost like a helicopter brother where he failed with Strelitzia.

Oo. Or where Naminé altered Sora’s memories of Kairi, she does it to Marlu for Strelitzia.  He would be pissed once he found out.  OR she does this in a way to make him be nice to her.  Hah.  He would be irate then.  Larxene as well to find out the little witch was playing with his memories.

I know Marlu has no memories as Lauriam, so what is this sister crap even?  But still fun thoughts.

~❁`~     “Separating yourself from those friends of yours.  Not very wise of you.  I would almost believe it intentional.”  Just as the maiden seemed to have indirectly desired, he gave up this dodging game and stepped out from a dark portal.  From what he had seen, there was extremely little threat this Aerith could pose that it was amusing to see her scared with that knowledge as well.   “My name is Marluxia, and I know you well enough you need not introduce yourself in return.”

     “Now that I have presented myself, what will you do?”

If either of them were actually been … well, alive, for lack of a better term, Axel’s pretty sure neither of them would make it far without succumbing to the oppressive and weighted atmosphere. ~❁`~     He was barely listening to Axel.  This place offended his senses and it lacked any aesthetic appealing to his tastes.  Marluxia waved off the visible fumes that reeked of whatever was boiling down there, but each living rose concealed in his coat was decaying, and the simple gesture broke crisp flakes from their petals.  He brushed what he could onto the ground to further avoid irritating his skin.  Really, even in this world Olympus would have suited him more than this place.

     “Likely no one possesses the capability to argue with him. I’m inclined to let that trend continue.  The sooner we complete this mission, the faster we can leave this unpleasant world.”  God or no god, this assassin didn’t like what he couldn’t kill.

A few little headcanons  ❀

The term ‘friends’ is an empty word.  He may use it when referring to someone else (Sora to Donald or Goofy), though if used with someone closer to him, like Larxene, he would use comrade, partner, or companion.

He smells like roses due to his desire for flower aesthetic and the amount of them he crushes on a regular basis.

Maruluxia will sometimes finish his missions early enough to find a flower field to relax in before he RTCs.  He has been late to return after falling asleep, but no one is concerned about it.

No one is allowed to use his shampoo or conditioner.

With no memories or heart to offer sympathy or develop regrets, he’s the ideal member that regularly kills for Organization XIII.

Her jaw is tight as she’s managed to stand up fully while he went on his speech. Her eyes were now hidden behind her bangs as she worked to gather herself, letting out one final deep breath before bothering to look at him.

The once icy blue gaze was no cold, and now painted amber. 

“You’re not going to kill me.” She moves her hand to the side summoning one of her three Chakrams and slinging it at Marluxia using the motion to sprint off in the hopes of avoiding the kick he was preparing for. 

~❁`~     Oh.  That was new, and it took only one well placed hit to do it.  Did he scare her that bad?  He hoped so.  If she ceased all the threats upon first glance during days he merely strolled through the castle, then this confrontation would be labeled a success in that regard.  The speedy retreat back caused petals to fall where he once stood, before, like him, they disappeared to safety.  

     Chakrams.  Similar to Number VIII’s weaponry.  It gave Marluxia insight as to how she would retaliate, and perhaps an idea as to who could show her how to properly wield such for another time.

     “Are you certain you can prevent it?  Or do you pray I have a heart to refrain?”  Pity he would temporarily withhold the reaper’s end of his scythe.  Marluxia swung the Graceful Dahlia’s handle across her back.

~❁`~     Comical that he would feign anger in regards to that girl.  It did nothing to shake Marluxia’s comfortable spot.

     “Is that how it’s viewed?  I am assisting her like others wish not do, yes.  However, if this is about my methods, you as well as the other members know I don’t pretend.”  To have the emotions, sympathy, or any other attachments a heart is required to feel.  “If Xenna is not showing results in the way you desire, then why not instruct her yourself.  A bit of a father-daughter bonding exercise.”
