     This had to be some twisted joke, but how could she know? Heroes did things that sometimes didn’t seem heroic, but straight out murder? That was absolutely against everything she believed in.

“... The people behind this probably know... though there might not be any particularly good reason...”

It was all Hijirihara could do to keep himself from rolling his eyes. Even before, he’d only disliked murder due to a crippling fear of gore. He’d never understood the moral aspects people would ramble on about. 

Or why everyone was so against even the concept of murder, for that matter.

“... Murder for survival, huh...”

Both hands stuck in the pockets of his pants, Hijirhara stared up as he spoke to himself, not seeming to mind the rain pounding on his face and soaking his dark hair. Not much was really bothering him at that moment, not even phased by the obscenely gory, violent imagery that had met him outside the theater. That wasn’t all that different than some of his more pleasant dreams, honestly.

Only one thing truly concerned him.

“.... What a disgusting motive...”

Hijirihara may have accepted that there was no way he could kill the Supervisor over the disgustingly passionless killing done before all the subjects. However, that didn’t mean he couldn’t share his opinion on the matter.

Somehow, Hijirihara’s voice managed to take on an even more deadpan tone than usual as he responded to her. As he made no act to leave the closet, the only motion in his form was a rolling of his eyes.

“I was in here ‘cause I like small spaces.... Why were you looking around random closets?”

Disgust colored the young man’s voice as he stared at half of the remains of the unfortunate child, eyes narrowed. It was so sudden, and apparently their supervisor hadn’t even known the name of the victim before the killing.

Under normal circumstances, Hijirihara would have been glad to give a failing grade to the passionless murder, but even he realized that wouldn’t be possible here.

That couldn’t stop him from glaring harshly at the corpse robbed of a proper death, though.

A child? That was... concerning, he supposed. People only ever killed children for disgusting reasons. Not even he was happy to ever see a dead child, and in a scenario such as this that was rather likely.
