edensommers:
Eden hummed softly to herself, blue eyes peering down to the contents of a chocolate filled box - someone bought Valentine’s Day chocolate a week too early and left it right on the kitchen counter. One idiot’s forgetfulness was the young ghost’s gain. Finally deciding on a darker hued truffle, she popped it in her mouth, leaning against the hallway wall. She closed her eyes in content for a brief moment before a voice alerted her. Eden looked left around the hallway, spotting a girl who seemed to be wandering aimlessly. The ghostly teen quickly turned visible, head cocked to the side as she studied the girl - living, she assumed - from behind. “Live is an interesting word to use here,” Eden called out back, finally swallowing down the hunk of chocolate. “You lost?”
Alice’s intake of breath was audible at the sound of the female voice behind her. Turning quickly, she scrunched her eyebrows at the girl that was leaning against the wall. Had she been there before? I seriously couldn’t have been that out of it to miss someone leaning against the wall?
She wasn’t stupid. She heard about the rumors about the house. She vehemently denied them--no matter how obvious it was that something more was happening in the house whenever she visited. She’d be damned if she was going to allow whoever--or whatever--this person know she didn’t know where the hell she was at. “Uh...no. Just forgot where my friend rooms at is all. I’m pretty sure I’m almost there.”
