I was trying to explain Howl’s Moving Castle to my dad and what I ended up saying was “it’s about a wizard who makes his house walk around to avoid the draft” and that’s simultaneously not what it’s about at all and exactly what it’s about

I’m moving to Florida in three weeks. What will it be like to live somewhere without a winter? Nowhere to hide or retreat from the constant smile of the sun? How does Florida fold into itself? How will its temperent affect my inner world? Severe rain and thunder showers that last minutes? Hurricanes? A rose tinted world? Beautiful and one dimensional. Homes without creaky attics and basements with hints of mildew.
Hmm...allow me to respond to MYSELF. Florida is VERY fucking temperamental. It’s absolutely bi-polar and unpredictable more than half of the year. It’s surely not a rose-tinted world, at best, a shit-tinted world. It’s an overly populated garbage-can of a state...but I love the weather four months out of the year, so. Oh and Florida has a winter...it’s called Summer.

I feel like whenever I take a break from my SSRI...I wanna listen to serotonin inducing music & escape to Europe and listen to industrial & acid house in some warehouse. Hmm...starting to pick-up on a pattern here ( crazy-face emoji )
