It's Summer! It's the Beach! It's Adventure! Beach episode!

Summer, a time of no school, ice cream and fond memories to look back on. It’s also the time for ANIME BEACH EPISODE. That’s right, GrailedRPG is running a beach episode event that you are welcome to jump in for Carnival Phantasm style fun. The event starts on Friday 27th, and ends on August 12th. 

Our Beach Episode will feature:

Pairing people off into rooms. As a bonding experience you and your new roommate will get to do a test of courage in the totally not haunted cave. If you find yourself bold enough, you can pick someone else and go in the cave again.

Watermelon smashing! What? You think you saw one of them move? Psha… just put your blindfold on already. 

Pick up a watergun and join the watergun fight. Add in a twist and throw water balloons at others as well. 

Bring your favorite book to the beach, lay back, relax, take a cold drink and start reading. 

Barbecue and fireworks! After a day of running around, even Servants can get hungry. Enjoy a good meal and watch the fireworks. 

Haunted cave description:

According to the legend, a witch lived deep in the cave. The fear of the village, any who went inside the cave either returned thoroughly scared and traumatized, unable to speak of the horrors they had experienced, or went missing. Sometimes the bodies of the missing people were carried by the stream from, what people could only assume, within the cave. It is unsure if the witch is still alive and guarding the cave, but one thing is certain: the spirits of the dead, of the ones missing, are haunting the cave. 

The cave is long, slimy, and dimly lit. Any light coming from outside is quickly cut off, and the only thing providing light within are artificial lights. Both Servants and Masters are unable to use any kind of magic within the cave. The cave is slippery, and any who enter will most definitely come in contact with something, or someone. Watch out for ghosts!

Hello everyone!

Due to recent events there are several changes coming to GrailedRPG. Since the beginning of this group we have been quite lax with activity rules & generally tried to police our members very little. We intend to keep the policing to a minimum, however — several new rules will be added effective immediately. 

Activity  — As of now every member of Grailed is required to make (1) roleplay related post per week per blog. Asks, memes & crack do not fit the criteria. We are all here to write, and would like it to once again become a main focal point of the group. If you are unable to make a post for a certain period of time, please contact the moderators and it will be excused. Every member will be allotted (2) weeks before their role is subject to be re-opened.

Character Cap  — Once joining the group you are allowed to hold (2) muses immediately, based on your activity on those blogs you may be allowed to add more after a designated period.

***This rule does NOT effect current members’ blogs***

Re-branding  — Due to the negative backlash from our URLs, we would like to re-brand them and have our members change their URLs to have ‘grand’ at the front of them, though we will be keeping Grailed as the official RPG name. 

Who can join Grailed  — Anyone with a Fate verse is welcome to apply for the group.

The mods would also like to release a sincere apology for the applications piling up in our inbox, some whom have been there for a week+, it is not due to their quality but due to rl complications. Tomorrow we will attempt to go through most of them, we appreciate you all for bearing with us. However, if you have submitted an application and would like to recant it, please inform us.

With a heavy heart, the moderators are here to announce the departure of Devil from our member roster. His blogs were @grailedoutlaw & @grailedsalvation. We were lucky to have him as a member, and even luckier to have him as a moderator & he will be missed.

Good morning / night everyone !

Before anyone reads too far into this post, I'd like to warn that it is regarding the drama that has been circulating this group & its members. So, if you wish to avoid such, please stop here.

Now, this is the first (and hopefully only) time the moderators will be making a formal post regarding something of this nature. The reason we have not made a post before this is because the incidents happening are between individuals, not between this group as a whole and 'indies'. It wouldn't make sense for the three of us to start making official posts about something that is not official business. However, after tension rising and frankly, the feelings of all three of the moderators being wounded, we figure it is time. To anyone who believes that this group has been 'shoved down their throat', we apologize. When any member makes a post regarding their own positivity towards the group, there has never been any intent to pressure others into joining. Could someone read it and decide to join? Sure! But no one should ever feel obligated to. Is this... a cult? No. Frankly, I'm not even sure how to address such a claim other than saying that I am not a cult leader. Skoll is not a cult leader. Artorias is not a cult leader. The three of us left the Fate community on tumblr several years back and wanted to re-join in a safe and protected enviornment. The RPG was a perfect solution for that, it gave us needed cushion room to integrate. One could imagine how the influx of individuals considering 'grailed' to be a trigger or refusing to follow anyone with the url isn't helping integrate. That is the choice of other roleplayers though, and is respected. On to the actual drama, we would prefer to withhold comments regarding it in detail. This is not a call-out post. This is not meant in a vindictive or malicious manner. All that is to be said is that we stand by our members and will continue to.

For multi muse blogs with about 2-3 muses, is it possible to apply for all of them to join the group or is this not possible? Also, how much rp experience does one need to be able to qualify?

I would personally suggest only applying for one to join the group, and once you’ve been accepted you can add the other muses without having to apply, though they will all have to have separate blogs. There isn’t a set experience needed, everyone in the group’s experiences vary and that’s perfectly okay! We accept people who have been writing for 10+ years and those relatively new to roleplaying or just new to the fandom.

do you guys have a specific setting? or is it just fgo with all of you being a part of a group?

There is no specific setting! It’s not even specifically fgo, verses and such are up to each individual member, settings are decided within events that pull everyone together.

On a dark and dreary night, the air thick with dew from a storm that is on its way, seventeen individuals arrive at an old mansion on the outskirts of the city. The building is surrounded by a thick of forest, only one road leading up to its front gate. Invitations are shown to the doorman, everyone arriving under the pretense of a party to celebrate the new year. The front doors creak open to reveal a grand hallway with a master staircase at the end. Down walks the host of the party.
