The last days were very demanding and we had to prepare our exhibition for Milan. We've painted our presentation tables and build up some background walls. Last step is to install lighting on the tables. Looking very forward to meet some of you in personal at the salone, but to be honest we are very excited...

Working in our unfinished studio for the first time. Trying to find a good shape which matches to the found objects we've got from British artist Aimee Bollu for our cooperation for Milano. Testing materials and different colour shades and textures with collages and swatches...not easy to decide for the final appearance, especially because the colours of the found objects are already very obvious... Let's see where it will lead us at the end... Stools made of ceramic and ash wood handcrafted by STUDIO OINK will be available through our gallery soon and on request.

We are very proud to announce that we are going to exhibit and sell these beautiful ceramic artworks of South Korean artist MIJU LEE . They will be part of our opening exhibition here in Leipzig in our future gallery and studio space and you will find them exclusively at studio oink. We fell in love with their simple but subtle complex shapes and their sophisticated appearance.

Finally it's done and our dining table is finished! It has a wooden oak surface and a frame made of steel, powder coated in a light apricot- rosé. And even our Poulsen lights are fixed! The first ones in our new home! You will find some more information about this table on our website soon. You can order it as a custom made piece through our website, so if you are interested in, please send us an email!
