Grandma Did It

This started out as mostly a page of vintage porn. I still post some of that, but over time I've become much more interested in the forms of art photography from its beginnings in the 19th century to roughly 1960. You'll see art nudes from famous photographers, from early photographic pioneers, and from the "French Postcards" of the early 20th century. The point is, there is nothing new under the sun. Anything sexual you can imagine, your grandparents did, or knew someone who did, anyway. I don't do whips, chains, bondage of any sort, humiliation or anything demeaning to an individual. I'm not into scatological portrayals of any sort, and finally, I find the whole nun/priest thing deeply uninteresting. Comments are welcome. Corrections are more than welcome. Most welcome of all are naked pictures of your ancestors. About me? I'm a middle-aged American male, retired, displaying a moderate level of sanity. Enjoy, and keep your sense of humor.

What’s going on here?

I just stopped by to look around, and posts that Tumblr tells me are hidden, or only viewable by me, are still getting reblogs and likes.  Apparently Tumblr and their @staff still have their heads up their asses.

STATUS UPDATE

So, if there are any of my followers left here, you’ll have noticed that I’m not posting on Tumblr anymore.  All of us who were focused on vintage nudes have gone elsewhere.  Here’s where Grandma is active these days:

mewe.com/i/grandmadidit - Most of the vintage nudes community is now up and running on MeWe.  We’ve also added several new outstanding collectors.  If the old Grandma-Did here was a favorite, follow us over there.

https://grandma-did-it.newtumbl.com/  - This is touted as the Tumblr replacement, and it’s slowly building up.  The site doesn’t have all of Tumblr’s features yet, but gets better with every update.  A few of us are posting there, mostly to reserve our IDs, but also in hopes the owners get it up to par.

https://sharesome.com/Grandma-Did-It/ - The worst of the options.  Most of the members are just lurkers.  Actual content providers are few.  There are a couple of folks interested in vintage content, and I’ve been posting there in hopes of building a new community.

A real Tumblr replacement may come about, but in the meantime the best place to catch me is MeWe.  Hope you’re all having fun here in PureTumblr.  Best wishes to all.

....it appears most of us are now posting at MeWe.com.  I’m there, Magoothings, Venusberg (as Helena Constantine), Vintage Jeune Femme, Tuturevintage, Nofrillsretro, Vintage Charming Beauties (as Vintage Beauties Redux), Salome, VintageCatHouse, Captain Bley, Agracier, RetroFucking, and SaltySoulPeach are all there.

Current status

I’ve been on MeWe.com for a few weeks now as Grandma Didit.  I’ve built up over a thousand contacts there.  A number of your favorites, like Magoothings and Vensuberg are over there too, so we’re building a new vintage nudes community. there.  

I’m also running at Sharesome.com as Grandma-Did-It.  The response there hasn’t been as good.  There isn’t really a base of vintage nudes fans there.  It’s more fans of many (and I mean many) varied kinks.  I don’t know how long I’ll keep that site operating.

We’re still waiting for the great Tumblr replacement to arise.........

We’re still waiting for some great internet savior to come up with a Tumblr replacement.  As of 20 Dec 2018 at 1330 central time, it hasn’t happened yet.  For the time being (at least), here’s where I’m hanging my hat:

Mewe.com - There are a LOT of Tumblr refugees there, and we’re starting to rebuild some of the communities we had here.

Sharesome.com - Not many Tumblr folks, but I no longer want all my eggs in one basket.

My own photography has a permanent new home at DeviantArt.com.  Of course, I still sell my photos on Etsy.

Tumblr's Porn Filter Flags Its Own Examples of 'Permitted' Nudity

According to Tumblr, its new adult content ban doesn’t effect images of “female-presenting nipples” that involve medical situations, are related to political speech, or appear in artwork. Tumblr itself, however, apparently can’t come up with four examples of this its porn filter actually allows.
