Finally finished my paper rendition of Bad Bunny’s “DTMF” album cover.
The moment the album dropped and I listened to it……it was a wrap. The emotions that stirred up inside of me after each listen was priceless. Instant classic in MY book. I immediately knew I wanted to remake the cover. In between commissions and in my spare time I would work on the piece. A little over a year later and I’m finally finished.
I hand cut every single blade of grass, in different color variations to add depth and warmth to the piece. The 3D aspect of it really brings it to life.
Along the way there were some parts that I made and then remade because in the months between working on the piece my skills grew.
I hope whomever comes across this piece loves and appreciates it as much as I do. Thank you Benito for such a heartwarming gift to the island and for putting our island on center stage. ❤️🔥

Every version of you was necessary. Even the ones you’re ashamed of.
