hiii I don't really know how to use this site but I wrote a long transfem shogunsara / eimiko fic I'm very proud of and I wanted to post it here!!

Suddenly, the tengu’s gaze turns skyward. Were it not for the incredible distance, the Shogun might have questioned whether they had somehow known to meet her gaze, somehow sensed her presence in the crackle of static at their chest. Though unseeing, the tengu gazes up at Tenshukaku for several long moments. They take five deep breaths, clasp a hand to their breast, and their roaring heart calms. Then the hatamoto calls the squadron to attention once more, and the tengu’s gaze fades. The Raiden Shogun watches on, and somehow knows—something is unright with the tengu she watches from atop Tenshukaku, as they salute their superior and recite their oath with a name not their own. She watches, and nothing more.
