so I research media psychology for a living with a focus on morally complex characters, and I’ve gotta say. roger waters is like the most academically fascinating person in existence... which probably reflects badly on him but I mean come on. he’s got everything. he’s a wildly famous rock star. he’s an angry old man no one listens to. he’s a dedicated advocate for world peace. he’s going to use the most insulting term possible for every demographic. he’s a communist. he’s a megalomaniac. he sued his own band for the crime of existing. he wrote a rock opera about himself instead of going to therapy. he blames margaret thatcher for his father’s death in WWII. he’s only recently human-passing. he’s got a duck named donald. he believes in equal rights for everyone except the people he works with. he loves his inflatable pig. he never stopped missing his friend. he is as talented as he thinks he is.

people need to realize that what’s going on with palestine and israel isn’t about anyone being jewish.

there are jewish palestinians, muslim palestinians, christian palestinians being trapped in what is essentially an open air prison for children and the elderly with no food, water, or electricity just because they’re palestinian.

this is about colonization, and unfortunately so many people are falling for the blatant propaganda being turned out by an apartheid government (israel).

the only solution to stop all this violence is to give palestine their land back. that is the solution.
