hii :) i was just wondering how you get dark scenes to be so bright without getting grainy-whenever i try to add some brightness/curves/anything really to a dark gif the quality goes to shit and then it looks awful, any advice? thank you :)
hum, dark scenes are just like that and you can’t do much about it… I think I just add some contrast and increase the blacks in the selective coloring layers to see how it looks. but sometimes that happens to me too, I just don’t use those scenes because as you said they look really shitty haha
I decided it was about time to show my followers a bit of love and since I’ve been asked a few times to share my colorings I wanted to give it a try and this happened. This psd works basically on everything I guess. Includes black and white option and a curves layer to balance blue-ish scenes (probably it will need to be adjusted though).
