status update of sorts. i know i’ve been painfully, dreadfully inactive on here and i’d like to apologize first off. i’ve been off of tumblr to keep myself in the dark (pun not intended about dark souls iii.) also, with my final years of university rolling around my focus has been primarily on my studies. i get about 5 hours sleep on good nights because of workload. in heavy periods i get maybe that much in the space of four days. there’s alot of all nighters and alot of stress and depression.

despite all this i’ve been trying to re-establish myself in terms of my own art. due to some highly negative experiences i had in the past it lead me to be reclusive about my art and personal projects, which have long been neglected. this is something i’ve been trying to remedy and escape the knee-jerk reaction not to share anything with people as a way of protecting myself, my ideas, and the body of my work. this also crosses over into the realm of work for others. there are many faces we show to people online within certain circles. sometimes we become ‘faceless’ in that process. some of you might know me in other communities by a hundred other names. some of you might have seen me posting art completely anonymously on image boards.

happiness and security are two things that are constantly on my mind. the web can be a vicious place. abuse and sociopathic behavior run rampant and sometimes its not even intended because of the dehumanizing nature of text and screen. it’s rare i express my feelings or various levels of “confusion” because of this.

anyway, this journal might remain inactive for a few months to come because of both school and other threads. if you are legitimately interested in following my work poke me in a message. some of the content in the future might be more adult focused, though there’s nothing especially explicit at the moment.

you’re all great people and the dark souls community has treated me very well. i love you all and want to thank you with sticking with me through the years. I can’t wait to play dark souls iii!

A lone warden wanders in from his tireless patrols in the halls of endless black. His gravecloth bound feet scrape the stone of the chamber as he approaches. Ash had always been a been taller than most of his brothers, and must stoop to enter Agdayne’s chamber.

“Elder Brother,” rumbles a sound like distant thunder from the chest and throat. “Are you about?”

PHYSICAL ASPECTS

» HAIR: Bald! » EYES:  Unlike many of his brothers who have red eyes, his are a ghostly green. » SKIN: Mottled blue. » HEIGHT: Around 8 and a half feet tall, hair to tell because of his awful posture. » WEIGHT: 200lbs or so. Seems like alot but factor in his height and he’s pretty lithe.

» SIBLINGS: Agdayne, every other Fenito ever. » PARENTS: Papa Nito? » GRANDPARENTS:  Papa Nito ? » CHILDREN: None » OTHER RELATIVES: royalsorcerer-navlaan​ ??? » ANY PETS?: Not really pets, but it he goes outside birds will perch on him. Usually sparrows and other small delicate birds. He likes hairy spiders. too.

» PHYSICAL BUILD: Muscular but very lean and lanky.  » ABILITIES: Stronk. Would possibly have a talent for hexes if he had a chime. He wields his curved great-sword with no trouble.  » HOBBIES: Arranging things neatly, sleeping, and wandering the endless halls of the crypt.

» POSITIVE: Very strong, patient and calm. Interested in what others have to say. Generally peaceful when not upholding the law of the crypt, even then he’s somewhat more reasonable. » NEGATIVE: No moral compass. Generally treats anyone as a friend unless they attack him. Doesn’t understand concepts like good and evil, needs to be made to understand through reason why a person/thing is bad. Doesn’t understand many simple human concepts or how the world of humans works.

Bronze Letter Opener

Dated: 1890

Culture: French

Measurements: overall length 10 ½" (26.67cm)

This French ‘dagger’ letter opener is crafted of chased doré bronze (or ormolu, signifying ground or pounded gold, is an English term, used since the 18th century for the technique of applying finely ground, high-carat gold–mercury amalgam to an object of bronze, and for objects finished in this way. The mercury is driven off in a kiln leaving behind a gold-colored veneer. The French refer to this technique as bronze doré, while in English, it is known as “gilt bronze”).

This instrument features a handle in the form of a robed skeleton standing atop a cross guard in the form of a bat with wings outstretched. Emblems of fleeting time and death, the hour glass and the owl, adorn the scabbard. Also, the scabbard is engraved and dated “R. Gourmel / Paris / 1890”.
