Death: As for your question, it depends on the paperwork. As long as they do the paperwork, it’s fine. Though, multiple escapes from me does end up drawing Life’s attention...

Death: My new year Resolution is actually take a vacation. But Kaia has mentioned that is not happening.

Heard Hawaii's getting snow and a blizzard warning. Does Death and Co have any thoughts on Snow? So White Hawaiian Christmas?

*dumps lots of love on you, anon* <3 Ahaha, it's actually still fairly warm where I am. *wistfully stares in the distance* It's crazy we're under a blizzard warning though. RIP those people up there.

Death: Snow... *hands in fist* Ah, the weather phenomenon. It's nothing special. Though about 10% of deaths in this world can be contributed to extreme temperatures of hot and cold.

Joy: snow means it's cold enough for hot cocoa!!!! Fireplaces! Sweaters! Scarves!

Kayou: uh.. it's okay I guess. It doesn't get that cold where I live.

Any word on Vol. 3 or more looking forward to next year? Also what would Death think of the Death Duke from the Duke of Death and his Maid?

so about volume 3. I'm glad you asked because I've been mulling over it. I'm thinking it'll be a...digital release? Possibly on Gumroad?

I had these big plans to do a kickstarter with matching merch as tier bonus but well, covid-19 changed some things. Namely I've recently come to the decision that I will probably no longer be doing conventions and my online store is set to close within a few days. As such, storing physical merch is a big problem.

My tentative plan is to research gumroad and maybe also release the digital version of volume 1 and 2? Maybe compile some of the art I've also drawn.

Some big decisions to think about.

“May I suggest a full dollar so that you don’t have to deal with coins?” Kaia suggested. 

“And even better one,” Death said. “Make it so, Kaia.” 

“Of course, Boss.”

Is Death afraid of needles?

Death looked up from her paperwork. “What?” 

Kaia reread the question. “Is Death afraid of needles?” she said.

Death blinked. “Why would I be afraid of needles? Wait, is that common in humans?” 

Kaia hummed. “Well there was one study that claimed roughly 20% of the world’s population had some sort of fear of needles. So somewhat common, I would say.” 

“The answer is no, I do not have a fear of needles,” Death said. “In fact, fear of something is usually Life’s domain now that I think about it.” 

“You are lacking somewhat of a fear response, Boss,” Kaia agreed.

<3 <3 <3 ilu anon (and if you’re the same anon who sent the christmas and new year messages I’VE SEEN THEM, I HAD SOMETHING PLANNED FOR THEM BEFORE TIME SLIPPED AWAY)

Death is overworked. Very overworked. And definitely not menacing behind me to finish. 

Beyond that, though, I’ve been hanging in there. Things could be better. Honestly surprised I’ve mustered the energy to respond to this. I’ve been sulking all day. *muses* I’m in need of a vacation except haha can’t travel anywhere.
