okay but NO ONE is doing found family like cw’s supernatural. you’re telling me that Team Free Will’s ENTIRE basis is that they chose each other, despite what they were meant to choose or told to do. and these three men — the one with the demon blood, destined to end the world, but saved it instead. the one created to be a blunt instrument in god’s uncaring hand, who cared so much about his family and about the people around him that he fundamentally changed an angel of the lord. and the angel, the solider who, in every other universe, followed orders and did as he was told, rebelled against everything he had ever known because he believed in those two men.

you’re telling me that three people who never knew a father’s love went and created a family all of their own, that didn’t look conventional or normal or even functional at times, but that took in those who had no one else and built a monument of love from the ashes of sorrow and loss. you’re telling me that two of the most fucked up humans in existence, plus a celestial being who tore himself free from the tethers of grace, were more capable of loving one another and their children and their friends than god himself was. and you’re telling me that love saved the world. i will NEVER shut up about this.

alright sure

i'm here today and don't have much going on at the moment so hey. name's kaia (kai for short). she/they/he. i was the one here when we first got on tumblr way way back in 2012, before bee split off and took over for the better part of the next 14 years.

suddenly coming back in the past year was scary as hell and i was pretty fucked up over it for a minute but i'm adjusting.

not sure whether i played any role in contributing to the music for SLARPG but i'm helping out with our current projects now. if you heard our la-mulana arrange, i helped wrap up mixing and production on that. looking forward to sharing others when the time comes.

musically i'm big on distorted, heavy sounds. rock and metal, trap, industrial / distortion heavy EDM - really anything that punches you in the gut. think animals as leaders, early young the giant, VHS head, mick gordon, etc. also have a soft spot for some folk (catch me belting along to "lost in my mind" by head and the heart in the car back in 2011).

when it comes to games i seem to have a fixation on boomer shooters. probably some combo of enjoying the adrenaline and letting off steam on some low poly ghouls. recently been playing quake for the first time and enjoying it thoroughly.

gender: fuck gender.

sexuality: yes.

characters i've seen myself in: samus aran (metroid), elster (signalis), gideon the ninth (TLT), vi (arcane), ripley (alien), selene vassos (returnal), "badeline" (celeste), and a few i won't name.

favorite animal: binturong.

i think we're probably best off not getting into our origins / roles as facets in our system in a public capacity so i'll leave it at that.
