Im very normal about darkness man (lying)

Exert from wip "i pray when i'm drunk"
Great men don't know that everything they have is given to them because of the passive want of others. Isaiah doesn't want this man anymore than he wanted the last one; which was very little. He wants the body, through him, with him and in him. Let great men have the glory, the honour, have the idea that they are above others, as long as other gets to have that want met.
For some it the sexual gratification; the reassurance; or the validation. Isaiah wants to be on his knees. Wants to feel the ground beneath him and know there is something bigger than himself out there. That his body isn't the end of the world, isn't the only thing that will carry him. Or maybe it is, but he won't feel that on his knees. He desires the ability to deny it for a while longer.
His pleasure isn't something he can get on his knees and therefore shouldn't and doesn't exist. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world; renouncing oneself.
I guess you could say he’s ve… he’s a very h…
As the prophecy foretold i drew him in a sweater.

can't believe we're gonna have to pull a reverse blockbuster while dealing with an active Ms. Pac-Man situation
attempting to pull a reverse blockbuster with an active ms pac-man AND gay allegations afoot. we are never getting elysium lads.
Okay so, spoilers under the cut for City Council of Darkness, it's just a bunch of rambling about what I think could happen, and also speculation about the clans of the pcs who haven't been confirmed. This is for ep 1-6.
Someone told me that they expect Ana to be embraced, or at least ghouled at some point. Madelaine embracing her is the best option because, well, Ana is so pretty, and Madelaine is one of the only two in the coterie who can make fully fledged kindred.
But this brings up the issue of how Toreador treat their childe; Sires lovebomb their childe and make them incredibly dependant on their Sire, which isn't usually on purpose because Toreador are creatures of fickle fascination. They become intensely fixated on something and can't think about anything else but that topic (their childe) until their interest moves on to something else. This usually causes them to have a toxic relationship, where the childe yearns for the love of their sire but detests them for being shunned.
This one comes from @man-cave-chronicles-stan and it scared me. The Whittakers may be waiting for Purpee to die out so they can turn all the houses into airbnbs and have an infinite money glitch. Their post about it is more succinct than mine, but I just wanted to give credit to a person who gave me more things to think about.
About the Douglass', they could be a number of things. Thin-bloods, werewolves, kine of werewolves since not everyone in a pack is a werewolf, hells they could be mortal mages (NOT from mage: the ascension), or even mortals who are just more attuned to the strange goings-on in the night.
This section is talking about what fucking clan HJ and Bat Child are since they HAVEN'T been spoken about that much, if at all.
HJ reads like a Ventrue, but they don't have access to Protean, which is the ability to change the form of oneself or others. Tzimisce have this ability, along with Dominate (mind control), and Animalism (control of animals). Brennan also mentioned an ancestral manor when the coterie got forcibly relocted to Purpee, which also leans towards Tzimisce (especially since HJ is the second oldest in the coterie, and old tzimisce are exeedingly more territorial compared to other kindred), plus the fact that like, he gave himself a fucked up facelift. Though it is strange because if he IS Tzimisce then his clan bane should've gone into effect when he got relocated, which is Grounded, where if a Tzimisce isn't surrounded by their charge of choosing (a place, people, etc.) they take aggravated damage to their willpower. Unless his charge is his coterie which makes sense. Another thing that makes me scratch my head is the fact that HJ is acting like your typical businessman Ventrue, he even has rareified tastes (people on drugs, SSRI's specifically), while Tzimisce usually take up jobs in cosmetic surgies and other related fields.
Bat Child is most likely Nosferatu because when the coterie was talking to the elders, Reverend Tarker said that "as Nosferatu Archon..." he was disappointed in both Darkness Man and Bat Child since they broke the masquerade. But she has auspex (ability to see the unseen) which isn't an ability Nos have access to unless Emily spent extra xp to have it, so this one is explainable but it's just strange. If she's not Nos, Hecata is my next guess. Not much explanation for this aside from vibes. Hecata kindred are usually after the afterlife and resurrection, so that's not a strong second choice. Gangrel came- PAUSE EVERYTHING I JUST REMEMBERED EMILY SAYING SHE WANTED TO USE TOUCH OF OBLIVION TO DESTROY THE MEMORIAL PLINTH IN THE GRAVEYARD. AGH. Okay so what this means is that she could be a really fucked up Hecata kindred since ONLY Hecata and Lasombra have access to Oblivion, and I can tell you for a fact that she's not Lasombra, OR, again, she spent the extra xp to gain access to these abilities. To continue my other thought, gangrel came to mind as well because they're one of the only three (gangrel, tzimisce, the ministry) who have access to protean (ability to change oneself and others), which in gangrel terms just means that they can turn into a beast. I'm a bit hesitant to say I'm confidant about this guess because Gangrel usually embrace those who fight to survive (i.e. they sometimes sire their victims if their victims fight back hard enough, which is a feat since kindred bites feel really good (unless you're Hecata)) and Vesper seems to be more on the passive side of things more often than not. And Gangrel only have beastial features after a frenzy, and those only last for two nights in 5e.
Oh jesus christ I just got another one; Maybe the bat that bit Bat Child somehow transferred something to her that turned her into a kindred. This one is really stupid but just... What If. Because obviously CCoD is more lighthearted compared to how Vampire: The Masquerade is usually played, I'm not opposed to just buttfuckery being thrown around. WAIT NO I HAVE SOMETHING MORE PLAUSIBLE: The ghost bat bit her and gave her rabies, she was scouted somehow by an elder vampire, and bam she got sired. I'm just really damn skeptical about how she explains she was sired because "I got bit by a ghost bat and turned into a vampire" doesn't line up with how kindred are usually sired. If you don't know, and honestly you should know at this point because Brennan explained it in ep 1, the victim must be completely exsanguinated, then the sire has to share some of their blood with the fresh corpse. Obviously most childer don't remember actually being sired because they were dead, but the proccess afterwards is incredibly painful as vampire magic reanimates their body.
All in all, I'm shooting in the dark here about all of this. The thing with Vespers only started because there's inconsistancies with her, and HJ is... a kindred who drinks blood. Honestly I need to make a yes/no bullet list for these two because rambling isn't gonna helo me figure it out sooner.
So Zaeth and Tyler are a ship now right
zaeth following tyler around while he does errands and jobs for the purpose of trying to figure out tyler’s weaknesses and how to do anything ever (he’s the worst nepo baby in the world which is saying something) but tyler thinks that they’re dates (because obviously theyre both so busy working that they would have no time for a real date so they habe to make due).
oh miscommunication trope with one sided rivalry and one sided relationship my love <3
