“Angels are not
like rain
or snow
or autumn leaves;
they do not
look beautiful
when they fall.”
Dark
me when I first awakened : going into a shift
me now : unending shift, maximum angel at all times
Remember: This is a time to symbolize rebirth and renewal.
You have risen from your own ashes; away from the things that have killed some part, or all of you. Reap the fruits of your sacrifice.
Family does not have to be blood; appreciate them. Be thankful that they made it this far with you - for they too outwitted those that tried to take them down.
Be humble, enjoy life, enjoy each other.
“you must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame; how could you rise anew if you have not first become ashes?”
— Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra
nostalgia for angelkin pt.2
rain sprinkling across the heavens. ripples across the ponds and puddles in the stone pathways. the sound of the rain was soft and cleansing.
a giant bathing area for all heavenly bodies. it looked like a lake, but the water was consistently shallow, only about 2 feet deep. angels and fae played in the water; pretending to be fountains, splashing and dancing and taking birdbaths.
a temple where fledglings grew, learned and played. it was a large building, the inside was like a library. full of books, large windows, and ledges for angels to sit on while they read. it was quite peaceful. a harp was consistently being played. the ceiling was glass. warm, yellow light filtered between the tall shelves. outside fledglings rested in trees with golden leaves and played in fountains. despite the fact that they were young, they always seemed to stay somewhat quiet.
a shoreline gazing across a great ocean. sand dunes littered the beach, made of soft white sand. ammophila grass sprouted up through the sand dunes and into the forest behind the beach. farther down, the dunes shaped into a cliffside overlooking the pristine blue waves. many kisses, dances, and songs took place on that cliff. the wind was soft and cool.

YES
someone: mentions the word archangel
me filling with dread: yes I’ve heard of them
language is fake im a kinnie
I’m really torn between “we need to uphold specific language so people won’t misunderstand us and use our own words against us as is so common with weird subcultures, and also so we won’t forget the roots of our community or use our very specific terminology so loosely that it ends up losing its meaning so we’ll have to create new words to describe specific situations” and “mood.”
angels: freshmen archangels: student council principalities: art hoes powers: student athletes virtues: theater kids dominions: AP students
“I am so absorbed in the wonder of the earth and the life upon it, that I cannot think of heaven and the angels.”
— Pearl S. Buck (via cunninggreeneraven)
Do you remember an angel named Anael?
I’m familiar with the name, but I don’t actually remember them, sorry :(
