‘ i used to be an eleven. therein lies the problem. ’ but the problem was HERS; not someone she had just met. so, the brunette forced a smile, eyes finding the person who had spoken, widening only a moment as they settled on blonde hair & blue eyes. ‘ a solid ten calling me a seven — never mind the self loathing. totally cheered me up. ’ she was intrigued, really, by the fact the other had never had pasta. she ASSUMED it was something everyone had, at least once in their lives. ‘ are you amish or something? pasta’s one of the most important food groups. now we have to find a place even faster — you’re missing out on something amazing. ’
‘ eleven, seven, what’s the difference really? ’ at least back home when you’re constantly covered in blood & bruises & fighting for your life, where you sit on a scale of one to ten is the least of peoples worries. ‘ i was kidding, by the way. definitely higher than a seven. ’ trauma included. maybe she’s just learned to appreciate that kinda thing. ‘ not amish. ’ if there were butter churners in space, she must’ve missed that part. ‘ just something that was never in my diet. ’ she could possibly pull it off as a dietary habit, but that would require knowledge of literally anything outside of their rations & what they ate on the ground. can’t say earth skills taught her anything about pasta. ‘ well if it’s amazing then i guess we need to find some. ’
