Shoutout to our boy Adam Levine.
R.I.P Pathway Home's van.
Today, we were supposed to be playing a short-notice gig with our friends in Pathway Home at The Grand Victory in Williamsburg. We regret to inform you that the show has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Their van caught on fire while it was parked in Downtown Manhattan. It eventually exploded, destroying all of their belongings and equipment. Last time we shared a stage with them, it was at a random bar in North Carolina and 5 people paid to see the show. We sold no merch and due uncoordinated frontflip into all of our gear, the show came to a grinding halt mid-song. But thanks to these 7 dudes who donated to us their time, money and even took us out to dinner, we had one of the greatest nights of our lives. Last night at 4 in the morning, we found our Pathway Homies nestled up together in a Hilton hotel room. We discussed how we could still make the show work if we could borrow gear and collect donations. In the end, we all agreed that it'd be best to cancel the show so that they could safely return back to Virginia. We wish there was more we could do for them, but for now we can only hope that some of our friends will consider donating to their Gofundme page: http://www.gofundme.com/pathwayhome Thankfully, none of them were harmed. At least they're not on fire.
