i thought something sounded musically similar in there but i couldn't put my finger on it. it was fucking clusterhug. and if i'm not mistaken, i could be wrong, based on my research clusterhug was a song dallon wrote during the panic era but it didn't fit panic's current album vibe so he used it for brobecks instead....which would mean that brendon probably would have heard the song before. LIVID.

THIS EXACTLY! It took me like a week to put my finger on it and as I thought more about it/researched it, the demo was literally released in 2015 while he still with panic and he confirmed in an interview (this one, from right around the release of razzmatazz, wherein he is asked SPECIFICALLY about Clusterhug) that it was from the TWTLTRTD era. INFURIATING!

btw, the song wasn’t massively changed from demo to final version on razzmatazz, and THE VOCAL LINE IN THE PRECHORUSES IS THERE! linking both here for reference because it pisses me off!
