What I find the most disturbing about the whole confirming no Finn/Poe.

Is that Oscar claims Disney is scared of it. It’s troubling Disney is scared of a LGBT relationship between two men that clearly love, respect, and admire one another.

Yet Disney is not scared of promoting a toxic relationship between a fascist emo whiny man child and the woman he abuses physically and emotionally, gaslights, and is consistently trying to demean and manipulate her.

Disney is not scared of portraying that kind of relationship because it’s a male and female pairing. That is the truly scary thing about this.

Side Note: Do not fall for the BS The Rise of Skywalker has LGBT characters, it’s another Joe Russo scenario. The LGBT representation in TROS is a woman pilot quickly shown kissing another woman before heading off for the big final showdown. That is the representation Disney has given you in The Rise of Skywalker. No name, no emotional connection, just a blink and you miss it moment. This is in the leaks and the leaks are essentially 100% confirmed by this point.

This is the third time Disney has pulled this stunt for media attention. Lefou in Beauty and the Beast. Joe Russo in Avengers Endgame. Now cameo lesbian pairing in The Rise of Skywalker.

You guys deserve better. We deserved Finn and Poe just like Oscar and John wanted.

Yup Disney is already bringing out the headlines. They do not deserve any reward or recognition for freaking breadcrumbs.

They had Finnpoe right there which would have absolutely deserved praise.

Two unnamed female characters kissing in the background for two seconds that can easily be missed is not representation.

Just like Lefou dancing with a guy and then immediately cut away from is not representation.

Just like a Russo brother saying he has a date with a man is not representation.

LGBT people deserve actual representation, with characters that actually have names and stories and we’re emotionally invested in them.

SHAME ON YOU DISNEY FOR STILL THINKING THIS IS ACCEPTABLE!
