They looked at the edge of the woods as they walked along so they could find the right path in, when suddenly, they couldn’t see at all. They tripped over from the suddenness of it, pulling themselves up to a kneel and trying to find out what had happened, where they were, what was blocking their sight, but, nothing was there. Everything had gone black, completely dark, like the lights had gone out, and yet, nothing seemed to be causing it.*

*They got up, nearly falling down, and started stumbling around in a panic, trying to find their way around.*

They tripped over from the suddenness of it, pulling themselves up to a kneel and trying to find out what had happened, where they were, what was blocking their sight, but, nothing was there. Everything had gone black, completely dark, like the lights had gone out, and yet, nothing seemed to be causing it.*
