Fucking beautiful in a way that only art ever is.) - - - Percy has had a crush on Annabeth since eighth grade. (He doesn’t know she likes him too.)

Will Solace had met Nico di Angelo at 11 years old. Years have passed, Nico is a regular camper. Will doesn't know if yearning from a distance can work anymore. He wants Nico to be his, and he wants it now. Two boys who grew up too fast, fall in love too slow, but at the end of the day, Will wants nothing more than to be the light that creates Nico's shadows. ( rewriting solangelo's love arc, will's pov )

Nico’s tongue pressed against the ring glinting in his bottom lip, drawing Will’s gaze to his mouth before he spoke again. “I reckon Uncle Poseidon got that too, since Percy’s name is technically Perseus,” he said in reply to his cousin’s words. Will could practically feel Leo perk up beside him. “Wait, Percy’s full name is Perseus Jackson?” He sounded far too gleeful at the revelation for Will to have any doubt as to his intentions with that piece of information. Nico nodded and Will realised that he was still staring at Nico’s lips as they moved again. Or: A Solangelo-centric mortal/high school AU from Will’s POV. Will Solace is hopelessly crushing on Nico di Angelo, his hot goth/emo friend who happens to be in several of his classes and whose friend group often overlaps with his own. He discovers through a combination of an Instagram story, Physics class, and account stalking that Nico has AO3 and not only reads but writes his own fanfiction. Good luck, Will.
