[[Ah, look at them! Aren't they the most beautiful idiots?!]]
I reached this area that reminds me of a coral reef. Maybe it really was a reef years ago, before the strain? There was something like a pond filled with an oily liquid. In it was something like a skeletal structure with eyes and blains that looked like those brain-eating octopuses. When I walked even further into the area there were more of these “ponds”. They seem to have an amazing surface tension, because they “grow” like pimples, but are still as liquid as oil and also filled with this skeletal structures. I wonder what they are and which purpose they serve.
Cure for the Contagion
In Blighthaven I met Victor and Lucy Lazarin again. There was an Exolab at the entrance of Blighthaven that was protected by exanite and there they had build a small lab of their own to find a cure for the Contagion. There was a jabbit who seemed to be kinda immune to the strain, so chances were high it held the key to an antidote. We caught the jabbit and truly found a lead to a cure, though I had to collect exanite-covered-flowers to add the final ingredient. Just when we thought we were about to finish it, everything went downhill. The strain found it’s way into the lab and killed or infected almost everyone. Victor Lazarin almost died, too and Lucy was infected... That’s why I had to kill her. It was horrible, but there was nothing else I could do for her. When Dr.Lazarin heard of her demise he almost was consumed by despair. I tried to remind him of all the other Mordesh who are counting on him to find a cure and it seemed to work... It’s a great loss for him, but he carries on. He’s that strong.
…the data core was huge and overwhelming and the entity was horrific and… ah… I felt so small in comparison. What was I even there for? In the end I guess I was a decoy because I really didn’t do anything more than buying time for Drusera and CT. At least we could defeat the virus and after that we had to get rid of an annihilator. Or to be more exact - Drusera got rid of it. She really is a goddess. Damn, she annihilated the annihilator and even made a path of exanite afterwards to get me to Blighthaven. She really is something. I will do anything to help her defeat the entity.
Excellent screencaps! :D
Thank you ^_^

Western Grimvault...
...was a kinda interesting experience.
First there was a shipwreck that had been going down at the Cryomere. It was kinda scary - like the crater at Raxen’s Holdout in Whitevale. There were so many people who had been overtaken by the strain. How pitiful...
Then, I came to Legion’s Landing which is located at the Bio-Mech Facility Alpha. Oh boy, what a huge complex. I LOVE it. And I hate it. But my curiosity takes the best of me every time I lay eyes on an eldan laboratory.
CT was there, too, and he asked me to fight my way straight to the core of the lab to get rid of some of the strain so that CT could take control again. Or that’s what I remember. It’s been some time ago.
Well, CT wasn’t the only one awaiting me at the core. Drusera was there aswell. And she told me that I would have to fight the enitity right there. Or at least a digital virus which took the shape of the entity...
What if…
I still was one of the Dommys? Now with both factions fighting against the entity and the strain, I keep on wondering what I would be doing now, if I hadn’t joined the exiles. With these thoughts on my mind I fell asleep and dreamt of Olyssia…
There surely have to be some exolabs. I heard Artemis Zin almost took the most important datacube right there. Would I have helped her?
Would I have proudly fought the exiles while still thinking of them as scum?
A shiver runs down my spine when I think about the old prayers I kept to recite…
Mhmmmm… Perhaps Drusera still would have waited for me - I think to her it doesn’t matter from what faction the person is, who she deems worthy.
I dreamed of a city of the dominion and of the Pell, praying to the life giving water. They even had a makeshift shrine to pray to Drusera as well. Impressive, if some Pell would do that.
I’m torn between admiration for the beauty of the exanite and Druseras effort and the sheer horror that is the strain.
I’ve found a little island and a floating houseboat - it was deserted, but there was proof for someone living there (a still smoldering cigar). Who would chose this forsaken land to live here?
There was a large bot frozen in the motion of stopping a monstrous corrupted... spine(?)... from tainting the land even further. Or that’s what I think that happened? How long is it there? I want to know what happened...
Saving and destroying
Well, there are some more stupid idiots like me who head towards Blighthaven. And some of them are even more idiots who run into caves full of powerful monsters. Had to save some siblings who shouldn’t have been here in the first place.
Then I ran into a corrupted exolab which was invested with heavy weaponry. I fought my way into the core of the lab which was guarded by two facets of CT - one was broken and one was intact. To activate the self-destruct I had to overcome them by solving a rather challenging puzzle, but I managed somehow.
Deeply hidden at the outskirt area of Southern Grimvault I found an old temple to pray to Drusera. I don’t know if she can hear someones prayers, but I felt so overwhelmed by the beauty of that place that I tried anyway...
Ugh... So much happened
after I wanted to leave Malgrave. We found a colony that needed to be rescued, so we escorted it through the steppe of Malgrave. On our way we faced some minor disturbances but we managed to survive.
Then Dorian called me. Artemis Zin found the most important eldan datacube and retrieved it right before our eyes. She literally absorbed all the knowledge the eldan had gathered. Damn....
And after that I was sent to Southern Grimvault. And that’s were the extend of the nightmare that is the strain laid bare before my eyes. That’s why I’m so busy - there’s so much to be done!
What level is everyone’s character in Wildstar? O_O Just curious....

Just another thing I wanted to throw out here. I’ve noticed some things over the time I’ve spent on MMOs and being online. Sometimes people are difficult to understand. Sometimes you really don’t know what the other person is trying to communicate to you. A lot, if not most of miscommunication leads to unnecessary conflict. Please try to remember while you’re online, that you’re speaking to people from all over the world, where cultures are different and there are even subtle meaning changes to words, and that some words spark more emotions in others than it does for you. If you do not understand another person, it doesn’t mean they are stupid, or that you are stupid. It simply means you do not understand at this time. Give it some thought, give them some consideration. Look past the words and think about their intent instead. Some patience goes a long way. <3
yes, please consider this. I've never played an mmo before, so I still have so much to learn and english is not my first language.

Climbing high, falling low
In Malgrave I found a Lopp-caravan that was killed by the Falkrin who live here. Yatish, a well-known Lopp-adventurer, asked me to avenge them and that’s what I did. I got more angry than I should have, but I felt like I just had to do it. I should have done something reasonable instead of doing something as selfish and useless as revenge.
In the Falkrin-colony I met a freebot whose hobby was to jump off high places. He asked me to escort him to the top of the mountain in the colony and as we reached the top we encountered an mighty elemental which I had to fight. Obviously I survived and was victorious, but we found a note of an explorer who most likely wasn’t as lucky as I was. Poor guy... Maybe he did it and survived...?
Anyways... The Freebot jumped off and invited me to jump, too.
I don’t know what force got the better of me, but somehow I just thought “Well, yeah, sounds fun!” and then I jumped off, too. The first few seconds falling I immediatly regretted doing it.
“WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING???!!!!!!”
Was the only question looping in my head and then a sandspout catched me. I was able to surf down the whole mountain right into Area 77.
OH.MY.GOD.
[[This is the face she makes right before she rips you apart :D]]
I shouldn’t sing
No matter where I go on Nexus, there is always that stupid darkspur cartel. Ah, well. Near their place was an exo-lab that I could visit.
After I was in there I explored their camp a little further and found a karaoke stage... er... well... No one was there, so I thought “Why the hell not??” and began to sing. It attracted the darkspurs... I guess they didn’t like me singing...
More than meets the eye
Sometimes I wonder why I didn't become an explorer. I love to discover places no one ever set an eye upon, but I love to help people even more, I guess.
I'm still at the coast of Malgrave, but I've already seen so many different sides of this allegedly dried up part of Nexus.
It's beautiful, really. One night, I discovered a small sandbank not far from the settlement of the Dreg. There was no one, but some torches were burning.
In the mountains I found a little Lopp who looked kinda lost, but wouldn't talk to me no matter what.
Even further up I was able to climb on one of those huge skeletons. The view was breathtaking.
And hidden behind some trees, roots and skeletons there was the den of an augmented monstrous spider. I was asked to kill it, but it is a tough one - I still have to find a way to best it.
