Rose colored M!A
The time spent trying to persuade Red to give in to his whim seemed to fly by for the emerald eyed man but was undoubtedly increasingly frustrating for the ex-champion who very clearly detested Green’s drunken shenanigans. Sure he was harmless, never trying to force himself on Red or resulting to physical violence but still. Red’s personal boundaries weren’t something that could be easily toyed with, and the brunette didn’t seem to comprehend that while intoxicated. Half way through the night Red had gotten fed up with fending off Green’s advances and had moved to the living room, leaving the brunette to his own devices. As he laid there alone nursing the dull throbbing pain of his incoming hangover his thoughts traveled to the dark haired man. For once he questioned the validity of their relationship, partially because he was still under the influence but also out of legitimate concern. Sure Green wasn’t the type to hem and haw over little things like displays of affection, in fact most of the time that he was with another woman or man he couldn’t stand overbearing displays of warmth but once the tables were turned there was a sense of looming dread hanging over the young man. Was this what it felt like to all of those people that had blindly fawned over the Gym leader for all these years? Eventually his thoughts carried him to sleep leaving him grasping on to the pillow where the red eyed man once was.
It was certainly a strange thing, seeing Green asleep; Without his infamous smirk or constant stream of snarky commentary he seemed so much younger, almost vulnerable. He was buried under layers of blankets, one arm resting out of the safe haven of warmth. His skin was prickled from goose bumps from the overnight chill that had taken over Viridian city. Without warning a snow storm had blanketed the entire land, turning the colorful scenery into a serene blanket of untainted white snow. It was early enough in the morning that very few residents had braved the frigid temperatures, leaving only the continually falling snow to change the lay of the land. The brunette seemed blissfully aware of the freezing temperatures in his home, the alcohol had lulled him in to a deep slumber his chest rising and falling methodically under the heap of blankets. He was blessed with being able to sleep relatively peacefully, occasionally here was the returning nightmare but compared to Red’s sleeping patterns Green had it easy. Shifting slightly in his sleep he yawned, a shiver running down his spine before he was resting again, seemingly not bothered by the temperature.
