for my Lingyang Genshin AU i think Lingyang growing up in this cave would make sense, its close enough to civilization that he can people-watch and its provides enough sunlight and water. Lingyuan and Fujin also people-watch from the area right above the cave so I think she would take that chance to check in on him time-to-time like she does Man Chai.
