bro discovered a damn gateway to a fever dream of a maze. maybe he wanted to prove that what he experienced was real. maybe he wanted something to fend off whatever that scared him so bad the first round.

the thing is, just because something isn't explicitly said in the movie, it doesn't mean that it's a plot hole or "random". it means that it's an opportunity to sit with those little details, going over those moments with some reflection, then coming to your own conclusion.

i don't ever want to be negative about a film i love dearly, but oh my goodness. please. we cannot keep doing this. i feel like i'm losing my mind.

did i attempt making ryland grace as soon as i dot back into cats and soup? absolutely.

did i also take one look at the lobster and think, "yeah that's crab!rocky right there"? also yes.

the new event is really starry/galaxy themed so i'm excited to collect all the free decors & costumes to try to make the room more reminiscent of project hail mary <3

having to fight the urge to scream whenever i see a ragebait comment harping on how the backrooms (2026) was boring

it's not even the argument of shortened attention spans anymore; it's the absolute reluctance of allowing yourself to get immersed in the tense silence and the increasingly unsettling shots. just because the characters are not spending 90 percent of the time yapping about what's happening or what they're thinking, it does not make the movie BORING.

PUT ON YOUR THINKING CAPS! WHY DO YOU REFUSE TO EXPERIENCE A FILM LIKE ALL FILMS ARE MADE TO DO????

i genuinely need to stop looking at comments under backrooms posts or else i'm going to start tweaking.

wallace and stacey's dynamic is so fascinating to me because it's implied that he's stolen her boyfriends before, multiple times in fact, yet they're genuinely so close that wallace tells her everything about scott without a moment of hesitation, and stacey in turn also believes him without question??

would have loved to see more of their friendship dynamic!!

finished watching the nice guys and it's occurred to me that ryan gosling has an innate sense of babygirlism that shines through no matter what character he's portraying. like it's kinda crazy looking at a grown ass man get his wrist broken and all i can think is "hmm. he whimpers."

dr. ryland grace would have gotten a 9.9 rating on ratemyprofessors if he never went to space. he wouldn't even need to actually move on to teaching at uni or anything. i fully believe that his middle school students just found a way to do it one day and... did it.

that being said, i can also imagine parents getting excited for parent-teacher conferences because holy moly that man can rock a knitted cardigan and metal frame glasses

just watched a full playthrough of the until dawn remake, and even though this is my first time knowing anything about the game, i'm somehow certain that rami malek's character is going to have a lot of fanfics.
