To those of you that remember that this character was even a thing - here is some Cornelia Karst. I took some liberties with her outfit’s design, but she’s still tough lookin’ cookie.

"Maybe it won't work this time, or next time, or the time after that; maybe it'll never work. But I refuse to add to the mountain of our people's misfortunes by not even trying!"

That time of year!!!!
Volker: And subtle but, in many ways, even more profoundly devastating is the lasting damage to the survivors’ will to rebuild and remain in the area. The destruction of the spirit of the people of Southern Quon and Gustaberg may end up being the most tragic loss of all.
Zeid: Hrichter Karst doesn't care about Galka.
10/10 best game MMO of the year best game, best game.

Probably the best Adventurer Appreciation commission I’ll ever get.
I was approached by the main FF11/FF14 subreddits’ mod reseph to do some art for his community project, to gather a collection of NA players’ memories and comments for a PDF book to be sent to the FF11 developers as a thank-you and tribute for the 15th anniversary of the game. This extra-artwork proposal eventually turned into doing the cover for it, and as you see what was just gonna be a PDF was made into a physical book, which reseph hand-delivered to the development office.
So… yeah. That bottom image there is the director and producer of Final Fantasy 11, holding my artwork. That still feels extremely goddamn weird.
I don’t really have the time to play 11 anymore but it still holds a pretty close place to me as one of my favorite games, for all its faults. This kind of goes beyond merely an honor. It’s been about three weeks since the handoff and I’m… still not quite sure what to make of it, ultimately.
Fridge-logic headcanon time!!
So you know how during the Crystal War, the Antica were unable to join the Beastman Confederacy in any significant numbers? And how if they had, the Allied Forces of Altana would've undoubtedly been defeated? Sure, that may have mainly been due to their lack of naval traversal methods, but the Shadow Lord was surely powerful enough to find away around that if he really wanted to.
No, I think that there was some small part of Raogrimm's psyche buried deep within, that did all it could to avoid allowing those monsters to take anything more away from his people.
(And that part was still there when the Shadow Lord was resurrected, enabling Zeid's calling out to him to succeed.)
