Do you guys think that Cairngorm ever truly attained freedom? First he was trapped inside Ghost Quartz, then under Ghost's influence, and then when finally he seemingly freed himself, it was only to live inside the cage built by Aechmea's manipulations. I know that Cairn is one of the most despised characters in all of hnk but I can't help to feel sorry for how he was always a cog in someone else's machine.

I made this Cinnabar fanart exactly a year ago, when I just started reading the manga from the point where the anime left off. It's unbelievable how much has changed since then, both in terms of the story progression and in how I view Shinsha!
